hi! i’m currently in art school, so yes, the plan is to draw for a living. the fanart i create is typically just for me, though— occasionally i’ll put one or two pieces in my portfolio, but it’s not intended for professional use. fandom spaces are where i go to have fun :D

I adore your style! If you don't mind, could you tell me what some of your inspirations are/were? Does this style have a name (like how certain cartoon/animation styles will have a name they all fit under, like how a lot of late 90s-early 2000s cartoon network cartoons had the same/very similar style, or how all CalArts styles have a similar Look to them)? I ask because I'd love to study it more in depth. I hope this isn't a bother. Thank you in advance!

hello! thank you so much for your ask, and i’m very sorry if this reply is late. i’m not on tumblr very often these days.

to answer your question; i wouldn’t say that my style has a name, mostly because i don’t really think of it as a static entity with a clear beginning and end. it’s amorphous, and has changed a lot over the years depending on many factors. some of my inspirations for the online work i post are people like mabel ye, freddy carrasco, tillie walden, rebecca sugar (their early work), and yoshiyuki sadamoto. i hope this helps, and please feel free to message me if you have any more questions!
