I have been absent from this blog for quite some time and although I have greatly enjoyed writing Baby, the time for both of us to move on once and for all is upon us. This was my first roleplay blog and I will always be grateful for the wonderful people I have met here and the fantastic stories I had the opportunity to write with them.

These days I am active on Murphy and Dean and would be more than willing to write with all you awesome people there. Baby is out on her adventures, roaming the highway and getting in to trouble, and although she pops in occasionally, it isn’t enough to keep up this blog. So thank you again to everyone and safe driving!

Two things Godric came to understand almost immediately:  One, some sort of magic was most definitely at play with Baby’s situation, and two, he had no idea what a car was, but apparently it was something that was not human, if she was speaking of returning to that sort of state from her current one.  All these thoughts and more flickered quickly through Godric’s shock-blue eyes, trying to put it together.

“Back into one?” he repeated aloud, hoping that he did not look to be struggling in comprehension as he was.  “So you mean – – this way you sit in front of me now – – this is not always how you have been?”

Baby took a deep breath and then nodded. She lowered her gaze to her drink which she took a few quick but large sips of. Liquid encouragement helped in these types of situations. So did sarcasm, she found. 

“You have to admit, she did a really great job though.” She smiled, maybe a bit coyly, but at least she’d been made into what people deemed an attractive person. She might not always feel that way but it didn’t mean she couldn’t flaunt it a little. 

“See, I don’t normally share. I mean, clearly you believe in magic of some kind or else you wouldn’t be still sitting there, and even you are having trouble believing it,” she sighed.

Sam finished work and then took a deep breath, staring down at his phone. He’d been by the bank, and gotten the money before he could chicken out. Sam dialed the number and held the phone up to his ear, half hoping Baby wouldn’t pick up and half hoping she would.

Baby flopped down on her bed, black heels dangling off the side as she picked up her cell phone. “Hola, mi abogado! I didn’t think you’d call,” she said with an obvious smile in her voice. “Do you still want to meet me tonight?”

“You’re the one that decided to step in.” And scare off her meal. “I had everything under control before you.”

“Listen, take it from someone who knows, that man was bad news.” She’d probably just saved this chick from becoming a were-snack and this was the thanks she was getting? She gave her a once over before dismissing her. “I don’t know what you’re trying to do here, but why don’t you find somewhere else to go turn your tricks.”

“That’s what yer worried ‘bout?!” he yelled, truck jerking as he mowed down a particularly thick infestation of Walkers. “This fuckin’ mess and yer worried about th’kinda car yer gonna die in?!” He gritted his teeth, jerking the car back into gear and gunning it. They jerked forward. “Got news fer ya, sunshine, ain’t th’thing to be worried about!”

Baby held onto the center console with one hand and the other, which still held her gun, steadied herself against the door as the bumped and jerked their way through the hoard of walkers. “Well, I’d rather not die at all but with the way things are going I’m not all that hopeful,” she shouted. She moved her arm to brace against the dashboard as she glared at him. “Where the hell did you learn to drive anyway?!”
