"Masaru!" Little Hazuki is eager to get to her special friend. She has his candies that her mom picked out especially for her ready in a bag. She holds them stiffly right out in front of her, excited to see how he'll react. "Happy Valentine's Day, Masaru!"

Masaru knew that not only was today Valentine's Day and he knew that it was also his best friend's birthday! The small child had no idea that holidays could also be someone's birthday until he had met Hazuki. He had to make sure his little Valentine for her was extra special. His step mom had also given him chocolates to give to her too.

"Hazuki!" The small boy beamed as he met her gaze and soon, his eyes lay upon the bag, "Wow! Are those for me? Gee, thanks!" He soon extends his hands out that held his little card and the chocolates. "Happy Valentine's Day AND Happy Birthday! These are for you!"

"HAZUKI!!!!!!" Doremi threw herself at her childhood friend in an embrace. "Happy Birthday!" She let go and rummaged through her back pocket. "Here! I got you something! Actually, I didn't GET it. I MADE it!" The usagi bunned girl grinned as she held out her present. It's supposed to be a clay coaster with a bunny painted on it. It doesn't LOOK like a bunny, but it's supposed to be a bunny. "I hope you like it!"

"DOREM-Oof!" Hazuki had JUST braced herself for impact when Doremi made contact. It always felt good to see her best friend again, and she was so grateful she always, ALWAYS made time for her birthday on Valentine's Day. She wrapped her arms around her in just as tight an embrace.

"Thank you, thank you! Doremi, you always know just when to turn up and make a girl's day!" she said as she took the charm from her best friend's hand.

Now...to puzzle over what the heck this is. "Oh, my! This is beautiful! I'll wear it on my backpack for the best of the school year! For the rest of the YEAR year!"

She was being honest. Everything Doremi makes, whether a dolphin, a pineapple, a rabbit, or all three, she always made them with love.
