When people do 0 research and accuse me, a trans woman, of being a terf...

I’m a trans woman
oh shit I took a wrong turn at Michaels and wandered directly into the dragon aisle send help

Pornhub has deleted all their unverified videos (more than 10 million) and the coomers are raging. Inshallah they all kill themselves

The only reason why they finally took action was because of Visa and Mastercard banning their use on the website, not because of the massive amounts of child porn and rape videos on the website. Just to show you that targeting someone's capital is always the best course of action.
Big congrats to Laila Mickelwait, TraffickingHub, Exodus Cry, and the survivors of rape and trafficking who've been actively campaigning against them for years. Let's hope we get the website shut down soon.
ALSO
This is why Tumblr eventually removed porn from its platform too. Not because of the child porn on here but because Apple removed the app from the App store until they dealt with the problem.
Only way we can end these porn companies and remove porn from websites like Twitter is by targeting their income source and getting government sanctions against them. They /will not/ take action no matter how much evidence we present to them of the rape and child porn that infests their platform.

Can we please shift the conversation from whether labels are "valid" and start asking substanial questions such as are they useful? Are they useful politically or for building communities and movements? Do they make sense? How are they materially different from other labels? What kind of message do they send about people who don't subscribe to that label? Why would we need them? What are they based on? What is their history, origin and purpose? Are they useful irl? Why do they make use feel different than older, more stigmatised labels?
Let's move beyond individual feelings and immediate gratification and start asking what's useful and helpful for us as a movement if we want to achieve material change
All I ever get as a response when criticising certain labels is "you're wrong, xyz is valid!!!"
Okay but is it useful? Is it harmful? Does it make sense? Why do we need it? Let's have a real conversation bitch, I'm past this "everything is valid" kindergarten nonsense
I repeat: the definition of bisexual as “attraction regardless of gender” is at least 33 years old.
if you say that bisexuality means “attraction where gender is a factor” and pansexuality means “attraction regardless of gender” you are actively participating in biphobia and erasure of bisexuality and bisexual history
Sephiroth when he got that Smash invite.
fuck this. fuck you *unasks my question*
i’m gonna say it
having teenages and ppl in their early 20s with little to no experience with irl sex, dating and LGBT communities lead online discourse on what is sexual orientation and what labels mean has done incredible damage to our community
so much of the shit that has come out of twitter and tumblr in the recent years literally sounds like a homophobic fever dream but if you dare point that out you will be sent death threats by a swarm of teenagers who have never talked to a lesbian offline
