It wasn't even lunch time yet but Nathaniel had fallen back to sleep. Crying really takes a lot out of you. I gently stroked him hair/head as he slept peacefully on my chest. I grabbed the tv remote off the coffee table and turned on The Lion King. I watched it as Nathaniel softly snored and cuddled me. He was so sweet. He deserves better than those people who literally just disowned him. I wonder what's going to happen now. My parents will be home in either two days to three weeks. Yea they know I'm gender fluid and gay and they would 100% support me and Nathaniel, but where will he stay? I can try to talk my parents into letting him stay here and it wouldn't take much to convince them to be honest, but what if Nathaniel doesn't want to stay here? I sighed, hoping everything will work out in the end. Then will Nathaniel even want to tell his friends we're dating? What if we get bullied? I don't want to be the reason Nathaniel gets bullied. I'm already the reason his parents disowned him. Well, we never told his parents we're dating so that's a bit of a stretch. But I hope we don't get bullied. Chloe already bullies us about making comics. I gently hug the sleeping boy in my arms, never wanting to let go. Whatever happens we'll face it together. That's all that matters right? Having my wonderful boyfriend by the side through this. A little over halfway through the movie Nathaniel started to wake up. I felt him stir on my chest. I looked down at him as he sleepily looked up at me. He blushed and buried his face in my chest. He is so cute and precious. "Hey Nathaniel." I smile softly, stroking his hair again. "Hey." He murmured, his voice muffled by my chest. I hug him gently and he cuddles me. We lay there in silence just enjoying being close to each other for a while, me watching the movie him listening to it while cuddling me. I sorta wrap my legs around him a little awkwardly but it also feels natural.
"Marc," Nathaniel starts, looking up at me. "Yea?" I ask. "Didn't we have school today?" He asked me. We both kinda sat there as we realized we had skipped school. "Um... there's not really any point in going now..." I tell him, checking the time. It's lunch. Just then my favorite lesbian called me. I picked up, obviously. "Marc! Where are you! I finally come back from being dollified and you're not here!" She exclaimed. "Sorry Zoe. A lot happened last night and this morning and we only just realized we are supposed to be at school." I say, not realizing I said we. "Whose 'we'?" She asked me. Shoot. "Me and Nathaniel." I say, being truthful with like the only person I trust other than Nathaniel. "Oh really? Does what happened have to do with him?" She asked teasingly. "Can we talk in person whenever we get to school?" I ask her. "Sure. Anyways, news you missed. Put me on speaker." She demanded. I did just that. "Zoe has news we missed." I told Nathaniel who finally sat up a bit. "Okay so both the 9th grade class and 10th grade classes, so ours and yours Nathaniel, are going on a field trip and we are getting put with people from the other class." She told us. We kinda blinked before processing what she said. "A field trip? Both our classes? We have a chance of being put together?" Nathaniel asked, excitedly. "Why does the last one excite you so much Nathaniel?" Zoe asked teasingly. He thought for a moment, debating on what to say. "More time to work on our comics." He said after a moment. I couldn't tell if he wanted to tell people about us dating or not. I'll ask him once Zoe hangs up. "Anyways, you two better get here soon cause everyone is worried since the Akuma was defeated and everything." She told me before hanging up. We looked at each other for a minute before Nathaniel finally got off of me. "Hey Nathaniel?" I asked him before he could grab his clothes and dash to get changed. "Yea?" He replied, tilting his head a bit. "Do you want to tell people we're dating or no?" I asked him. "Well I don't have parents to force me not to so I don't care. It's up to you, Arc-en-ciel." He said. He didn't seem to think on the last word and it made me blush. "Al-alright." I stammered. He smiled and went to change. I did the same of course. Then we headed to school together. We got there as lunch ended. "See you later Nathaniel." I smile before walking to class.
"There you are!" Zoe whisper yelled as I snuck into my seat somehow not being noticed. "So tell me what happened." She demanded quietly. "Long story short or long story long?" I asked. "Just spill!" She told me. "So um, basically me and Nathaniel are dating now. Don't tell anyone please. Not yet." I whispered. She gasped quietly. "No way. You got yourself a boyfriend? And it was the dude you've been crushing on? So cool. I wish that was the same for me when I confessed to Marinette." She whispered back. "You'll find yourself a girlfriend someday, I'm sure of it." I smile whisper. She smiled back at me. "So when do we find out who we rooming with on the trip?" I whisper. "Tomorrow... I think. All I know is we're doing same sex pairing so the chance you and you know who getting paired is pretty high." She whispered. I smiled a bit more. Then the day drug on. Yea no I'd rather be laying on the couch cuddling with Nathaniel than being here listening to lectures. All. Day. Long. I kinda laid my head on the desk boredly. Zoe laughed. "Missing your boyfriend?" She teased, patting my head. I groan.
Finally, after hours of torture and not getting to see my boyfriend, school is over and me and Nathaniel meet in the Art room. He had gotten there first. I smiled and sat beside him. No one else was in there yet since everyone else had other people to talk to before hand. Me and Nathaniel on the other hand, just two bored shy gay boys missing their boyfriend. "I missed you." I smile softly. He looks up at me. "I missed you more. Anyways, are we telling people or no? It's up to you Arc-en-ciel." He smiled softly. "I'm not sure about telling too many people yet... but Zoe knows. And I kinda regret telling her cause she teased me like all day." I say bittersweetly. "That's fine. We can share it when you're ready." He smiled at me. Gosh he is so cute. I lean over and kiss him on the nose gently. He blushed but as he was about to say something more people started coming in so we started working instead. "Wonder how long it'll take for news of what happened earlier to spread." I whispered to Nathaniel who nodded sadly, understanding what I meant. "Don't cry, Mon Soleil (Sunshine), it'll be fine." I tell him gently and softly, setting my hand on his arm gently. He smiled a sad smile at me. "I know. It'll be fine as long as I'm with you." He told me. Then we got back to work, me writing and him watching or drawing little doodles. I looked over to see him drawing Roaster Bold. I blushed a bit but hid it. "Whatcha drawling?" I ask. "Roaster Bold." He murmured. Well that was obvious. He was focused on his work so I just stared at that pretty face of his until he came back to the real world and caught me staring. I blushed and looked back to my writing. I hadn't written much since I was busy watching him draw. I stared at the page, trying to figure out what to write. After like five minutes I started to write again, filling a few pages before I looked up to see Nathaniel watching me. I blushed a bit. "Nathaniel?" I ask, my face still a bit red. "Yea?" He responded. "Why are you staring at me?" I ask, more or less knowing the answer but still asking. "Can I not watch my boyfriend?" He asked, tilting his head. He is so cute. "Y-yea. I w-was just thr-thrown off to lo-lo- to look up and see you w-watching me." I told him. He chuckled. "You're so cute when you stutter." He told me, looking into my eyes. I blushed a bit more. "Stop making me blush." I mumble, feeling my face burn. "But it's so cute." He told me, making my face burn even more. "Okay kids, it's time for you all to leave." The art teacher told us so we all packed up.’
Alr here is Chap 7 (Ik it’s been a hot minute). Um I don’t have the energy to type too much today cause I am more or less emotionally unavailable after this post… yea
