My mother is dying. Her brain cancer is officially untreatable and she's going to be on hospice care when she gets out of the hospital. She's been there for days, I think four but I lose track. It's very strange. At least it can only happen once.

I just saw that Gone With the Wind was published 80 years ago today. It was a horrible day today.

I've been saying I'm going to turn into a housewife this summer but I think that in addition to parlor activities and dinner parties and the fun parts I'm going to actually try and make the house nice. No one has ever been to my house so you can't know but trust me, this is a very large undertaking.
