I can't believe today is the last Witch Hat Monday for a while 😭

I don't want to see anyone become a brimmed hat but boy do I love designing brim hats for everyone. For Richeh I think she would look cool with her crystal ribbons forming the hat, and the scale wolf cloak would compliment it all.

Tetia is next for a hat design! I'm thinking something with clouds and either a dragon or a Brushbully ;) The hours long painting video, HD image, and PSD file will be DMed on my Patreon

Orc and Half-Orc Picrew Recommendations - Part 1

While depictions inevitably vary, characters with orcish heritage are typically portrayed with one or more of the following features:

✅ tusks

✅ green or grey skin

✅ a large/muscular frame

These can be difficult to find when looking for character creators so here are a selection of some of the best picrews I've found so far with these features!

1. RPG Husband Generator by Drudenkreuz

Picrew overview here

Absolutely my top choice for making orcs and other larger races. While its two body types are masculine-leaning, the hair, make-up, clothing, jewelry and accessories available allow for more feminine presentation if required.

Some other great features include body hair, facial hair, scars (including top surgery scars!), wrinkles, piercings and armor.

2. Dnd PCs/Npcs by fruitsponchi

While the body types available here aren't the beefiest out there, it's still a step up from most picrews of a similar style.

I particularly like this picrew for half-orcs due to its variety of tusk options but some other useful features include horns, pointed ears, freckles and scars.

3. Plant's OC Creator by plantishfellow

Not the most user friendly picrew out there in my experience but definitely has enough customisation and great features to make up for it.

Most notably, it has six body types, including two muscular and two chubby. No grey skintones in this one but there's chalk white, green and a variety of natural skintones. It also has top surgery scars (among others) which is nice.

4. RPG Character Maker by sixteenbee

If body type is less of a concern or your character happens to have a skinnier frame but you want a lot of customisation then look no further!

This picrew has two shades of green and two greys to choose from as well as a wonderful range of clothing and weapon options (and so much more!!)

5. Man Maker by marototori

Last but not least, if beefiness is a priority, consider this man maker. It has just the one body type and modern-only clothing options but it has options for tusks, horns, wrinkles, scars, body hair and facial hair.

It's also doesn't have green or grey skintones, though there is this teal colour shown above, and a range of natural skintones.

Do you have recommendations of picrew for yuan-ti?

Hi! Thanks so much for the ask! This is a slightly complicated one to answer because it varies depending on which type of yuan-ti we're talking about. We have:

Purebloods - Creatures who look mostly human but with serpentine characteristics like reptilian eyes, tongues or scales.

Halfbloods - More obviously snake-like, halfbloods have quite a lot of variation in themselves but are usually depicted as a visual 50/50 split of human and serpent. A common way of depicting this is a snakelike head and torso with human arms and legs or a human top half and snakelike body.

Abominations - Full snake-mode. They're basically just giant snakes with a humanoid torso and arms.

I'll start working on two different in-depth recommendation posts for these (one for purebloods and one for halfbloods/abominations) but in the meantime here are a handful of quick recs from a brief search:

Goliath Picrew Recommendations

Goliaths are a 5e playable race descended from giants, characterised by their large frames, grey, stone-like skin and markings on their face and body. They are also usually depicted as bald and clean shaven.

With that in mind, here are some goliath-appropriate picrews with one or more of the following features:

✅ Grey skin

✅ Face and body markings

✅ Large/muscular frames

✅ Baldness

Always a go-to picrew for muscular characters, the RPG Husband Generator is naturally suited to a typical goliath's big, muscular frame and also offers body markings, baldness and a good variety of high fantasy clothing and accessories.

Create a Cambion by Kenzie Crow

Grey Skin ✅ Markings ✅ Muscles ✅ Bald ✅

While technically designed for demons and cambions, Create a Cambion is surprisingly versatile and one of the few picrews out there which offer grey skin AND face markings (in either black or white). The body options aren't large but they at least have visible muscle definition.

This picrew is a great option for female or androgynous goliaths. While none are noticeably muscular, it offers 3 body types and features a good variety of face markings in different colours.

Fantasy Icon Maker by triflingshadows

Another that's a little lacking in size/muscle but great for variety of markings. It also offers more than one shade of grey which is always nice.

Fantasy OC Creator by Cilantro Studios

Once again this falls into the category of bald and grey but not muscular. The facial markings are very simple on this one and unfortunately can't be layered together but there are a few different choices for them. The skintones include several shades of grey though and good options for fantasy and historical clothing.
