I’m already looking forward to World Ballet Day 2018. This is one of my favorite songs to dance to in my back yard at night. To hear it as the soundtrack to all this ballet magic gives me all the feels like you wouldn’t believe. It is my sincere belief that ballet dancers are living the human experience at a higher frequency than the rest of us. To have that much strength in your body, to have that much command over everyone of your finely tuned muscles so that you can express the music like a Stradivarius…that must be one of the ultimate things a human being can experience. You know? Like not everyone can experience standing on the moon and looking down on Earth and not everyone can become a ballet dancer on the world’s greatest stages. But I’m excited that it’s still something that I can learn and put into practice. If you love to dance it doesn’t matter where you are or how great you become at it, you can still experience some of that joy.
