And even if Newsom doesn't win the primaries - please do not let this man win the primaries - there is a section of the Democratic Party that is in the process of convincing itself that throwing trans people under the bus is the key to winning elections. It's not, but any Democratic who flirts with that needs to catch heat in order to cow the rest into not doing that.

I VICIOUSLY need Mark from Invincible to meet Keith from Voltron. (Spoilers for both series btw).

For context say, my friend told me to watch this funny little show called Invincible and I, not knowing any better, decided to do so and HOLLY AHIT THIS SHOW IS INTENSE!!! Like, fuck does this show not pull its punches.

Bjt while watching I couldn’t help but put together the similarities between Mark and Keith. Not only do they share the same voice actors, not only are they part aliens who have Asian ancestors on their human side and last of all, but the alien race their parents come from is a bunch of colonizers who value strength and victory.

And then my brain realized that Keith could have been Mark if the circumstances had been different. If Keith’s mother wasn’t a rebel, if the galra had used their half-breed children as spies and soldiers instead of looking down on them, if just a few things had been different this might have been Keith and those parallels are fucking killing me cause I just watched season one of invincible and can’t help but compare it to how Keith discovering his heritage resolved things for him while for Mark it’s just been more and more pain and I’m only one season ONE!!! There’s two more seasons of Marks heritage being the thing that causes him grief.

But yea, I just really need these two to meet up and discuss everything cause Damm I wanna know how that talk between them would go!!!

Last day of yosante week!!! I had a blast doing this and a shout out to everyone who participated in this event, y’all did a wonderful job! For the free day I liked the idea of ghost yone looking over paranormal investigator k’sante shoulder has he looks around. Hope everyone else had a fun time and shout out to @kynimdraws for putting this out, it was really fun to get to participate.

Sixth day of Yosante week and for the prompt “another universe” I decided to do anima squad, bc I actually really like it and wanted to add more skins. ‘K’sante is battle lion and yone is a battle fox, which is not an official thing in animal squad, but I’ve art done for fox squad Twisted fate and my brain decided to put him, yone, nillah, and Ahri on a squad together that is made to commit war crimes. Bc of course I did.

Sorta last minute drawing for day five prompt: sunrise/sunset, decided to do sunrise and just the focus on the love birds in bed, that and I wanted to practice lighting, so hey two birds with one stone!!!

Back for day for of yosante week, this days prompt was hunt and it was probably my favorite day.

I originally thought the prompt was hurt/sacrifice so I had a different pose entirely in mind but scraped it when I realized my mistake. I then switched over to fiend queller au from wild rift bc I love the yone skin and this is as close as I’m gonna get to K’sante being in this universe, or get another skin in general, so I was really excited to do that and included two versions of K’sante and his Ntofos (I hope that was spelled right). I might draw him again some day, there was a pattern that I really wanted to add to the weapons but couldn’t get right , plus there’s the color pallet ad design details that included that I would love to gush about (I’m especially proud of the tattoo of the cobra lion on his arm).

Anyway four days down, three more to go and I can’t wait to see what’s next!!!!💜💜💜

Day three of yosante week and we have the proposal theme!!! I decided to do a quick sketch of the two and I think it looks adorable, kinda reminds me of those Hamilton animatics I used to watch.

Second day of yosante week, I called it thr wrong thing last time but hopefully I got it right this time.

This is day two, I choose the travel prompt and took inspiration from ocean song au with k’sante’ x directly referencingthe creator of this prompt week @kynimdraws. I forgot how to draw backgrounds so this is kinda bad. Hopefully it’s still nice to look at.

I got this done supper late but I hope it turned out well. Theme I picked was realization, not really in any au, I just wanted to draw them in tuxedos and surrounded by fairy lights as they realize they like one another. I also used some new brushes and I really like how they turned out. For the most part anyway.
