This is one of the kids kidnapped from Israel into Gaza by Hamas terrorists yesterday, being abused, taunted for calling to his mom, clearly framed by antisemitism.
The current count (which is far from the final number) is over 300 people murdered, over 1800 wounded, many of them specifically in mortal (19 people) or critical condition (over 300 people), and over 100 people kidnapped into enemy territory. To all the people being so incredibly kind and reaching out: thank you. Thank you for caring. Thank you for being humane, for not justifying the attack, abuse, torment, rape, kidnapping and murder of people just because they're Israelis. I've seen a post doing just that on my dash and it had thousands of notes.
On a personal level, since I promised to update: I did make it to my treatment at the hospital, and back again safely. The hospital is just... I have no words. I also saw police forces, ambulances and firefighters on the way, but yeah, like I said, I am physically okay. I do know this is far from over. Israel's border is still breached, there are still pockets of fighting with Hamas terrorists within our towns, there are still rockets fired at Israeli cities, the Barzilay hospital was directly hit, Hezballah on Israel's northern border is giving initial signs of joining the fighting, while there are still people trapped and hiding from terrorists in Israel's south, terrified and running out of food and water.

Someone did the math and relative to the size of the population, this is as if the terrorists had murdered, instead of close to 3,000 Americans during 9/11, around 22,000 innocent civilians.
