Also dysphoria will fade as you transition and that very normal and the point of doing it. Having very little to no dysphoria far along in your transition does not make you nondysphoric it just means you are getting the proper treatment

I’ve never seen someone say dysphoria begins merely as the sense of disconnect. The only transmed attitude I’ve seen is that dysphoria is like this soul-crushing, insurmountable medical necessity–that people are not allowed to consider themselves trans if they have no desire (whether consciously or by circumstance) to surgically transition.

Then you haven’t discussed with many transmeds. Most transmeds I know know that dysphoria differs from person to person and can fluctuate. Sure it can be soul-crushing for some people sometimes, but it’s not a constant feeling.

I think I’ve encountered enough. I’ve never met a tolerant transmed–you’re the first–or anyone who considered dysphoria as you do. Refreshing as it may be and as much as I appreciate it, it doesn’t alleviate my feelings about transmeds. Any encounter with a transmed has been just like the first post minus the obscenities. I’ve lost a friend over it, a transguy who was self-righteous about his identity being like Trans Perfection, who had no respect for nonbinary people and publicly called them–and me–out as “trenders.”

I would say at least half of the people I follow/follow me agree on most points meds made so you have, lowballing it, 300 blogs. Yeah... plenty of people show signs of it their whole lives (or end up masking many of those) and don’t get diagnosed well into adulthood. It’s not something that’s universally tested for. Besides, with very young babies it can be impossible to tell if they’re autistic or not.
