Please welcome Go Go to the Book Ferret Family!

Born on April 14th, Go Go is the (slightly) older of our two boys! He’s determined and feisty and sleeps so very hard after playtime. He also makes more noise than any other ferret we’ve had before! We love his little Go Go Goose sounds 🪿

My husband picked out Go Go’s name. He’s always loved the thought of Go Go for a ferret, and it’s from Big Hero 6, which is also what Wasabi’s name was from, so it feels like a bridge from our ferrets who could never meet one another. He’s also very fast, so it already feels fitting! 💛

I hope you’ll all love Go Go (and his pointed polecat ears!) just as much as we already do!

Please welcome Zym to the Book Ferret Family!

Born in April 15, Zym is a full quarter European polecat! He’s already shaping up to be a BIG boy between that and how much he loves to eat anything we put in front of him. He climbs everything he can (including us), and plays so much like Wasabi. He loves toys that make noise like bells, tiny maracas, and crinkle toys.

For months, Azymondias has been my top pick for a ferret name. From the Netflix show The Dragon Prince, Zym is the name of the Dragon Prince! Our son is also named after a character from the same show, so it’s a lovely connection between the two of them.

An incredibly special thing about Zym is his lineage. We flew to Ohio to pick these boys up from the same breeder we got Wasabi from back in 2018, and in looking at Zym’s parents, grandparents, and great grandparents, I noticed that Wasabi is actually Zym’s Great Great Uncle. How special to have such a unique tie between our ferrets who were never able to meet. 🩵

I hope you’ll all love Zym as much as we already do!

(both are from 1924, artist is Austin Cooper)
