The once consistent hum off it's generated source wounding down to that of a dwindling groan now severed from it's supply -- it was met with the clattering patter of wooden blocks being chucked spontaneously wrath bound into the nearest heap of file cabinets. The palm's length wooden mind-bending predecessor of the rubik's cube -- pelted into solid objects and erupted to scattering diminutive projectiles. " How's an officer s'pose t' work n' these co'ditions ?! " The Lawman shot up to his feet and consecutively switched the surge of battery on by twist of both positive and negative terminals. Snatching the tethered baton ( more a cattle prod ) up into his right hand whilst she sparked to life in a song of her own. He hated waiting, sure -- but he hated having to be interrupted significantly more when his mind had honed in on something he refused to best him. Now I pin Coyle as a complete homosexual. If not mainly due to his demeanor and course of actions mirroring every self hating homosexual authoritative documented down in history far too much. He will masquerade around rigidly as this straight man and press upon anyone who says otherwise with upmost hostility which would pursue onto silencing their tongue, quite possibly to the extent of snuffing their life. One way or another. Even though what comes out of his mouth is downright questionable on most ports. He probes with taught hypermasculinity on display for this same reason. A product of his upbringing in a prejudice town and the extension of path which he took. The shaping of an era that saw men far lesser as a whole if caught with another man. If caught in the act he would, undoubtedly , pledge prison stained bisexuality ( jailhouse turnouts ) as a form of convenience to lessen the ignorant lens. Because in his eyes, he wouldn't be the bitch -- and besides, he slept with women prior, fantasized about them audibly ( all a front ) been married thrice. ( all lavender marriages ). Despite when he did marry and or slept with other women, he never truly lingered on thought about the body in front of him. Just the hole which would suffice. They'd always be face down, pressed into whatever surface that could muffle their cries and protests. Or even to a degrading extent with a bag thrown over their head. Coyle is partially blind in his right eye, a secondary product from the incident that branded him his scar. ( my explanation of why he at times completely neglects reagents in partial / obstructed light. ) This gives him an heterochromia guise. Under shades the functional eye being a deep cerulean blue. While his marred orb had become a silvery crystalized cyan. His scar in particular expands beyond the point of his uniform. Creeps in current like grooves across the backside of his shoulder and warps in frayed ridges across his left breast, then thins under reach of his ribs. A few other scars loiter his body. From knife scuffs to bullet holes. ( I'll provide detailed background for the knife and bullet scar in the near future. )
