Sometimes I feel like high school me would be disappointed that I didn’t do any of the things she wanted. I never moved to another country, I never pursued acting/filmmaking/producing, and instead I did with my life everything I swore I would never do. I became a mom, I got married, I got the most stable government job for a lawyer. And this sometimes gives me the biggest fomo when I see this one girl i used to be friends with, that moved to another country (Budapest, of all places, I used to dream that I would live there), met a boy there, and are now dating and living together. But I love my son more than life itself, and I married the man with the kindest soul I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I know I can still do a lot of things, move to other places, but i like to think that I grew up, and grew out of a lot of ideas, and that led me to have the live I do now; one I never admitted to myself that i wanted, because I never thought possible that I could get it.

This is “Mother Mary”, the owner of Blackberry’s mother.

She made all the cakes for the restaurant while it was open. Chef Gordon Ramsay tried her red velvet cake, and spoke this meme-able line:

anyways, I hope she has been able to continue her love for baking since the restaurant closed down.
