not what i usually post but some of yall really believe activism ends when the thing in question isnt 'attractive'.
we've all heard the 'mental health matters only until its a person with a stigmatized disorder/with pedophilia/with unflattering symptoms/that doesnt want to change etc' speech before and it is very important, but this applies to so many other things
being anti racism matters until the person in question isnt hot. theyre not conventionally attractive or theyre breaking the law or being loud on the street.
appreciating culture matters until the culture in question isnt cute, when the towns been destroyed and you think its dirty and ugly to look at or the food smells bad to you
ffs. get a grip and realize that if you stand with something, you stand with it even if its not pretty.
