Intro Post!

Hello and welcome to Baldur's Crate 3 This is a blog about the various bugs and glitches my friend and I encountered in almost 900h of playtime - and we definitely didn't bring the game to its limits on purpose by repeatedly stacking furniture so high even the skybox couldn't hold us. Baldur's Gate 3 physics are ... certainly one of the game physics of all time. I hope you enjoy the mad stacking, the glitches and funny moments and maybe even some tutorials on how to break the game.

Did you know that there's some kind of in between level up there in the cellar of Last light? That's what caused the gap in the chest tower. Also random box in the background on the left?

Ahhhh... Baldur's Gate

If you dare to climb the rooftops of our beloved city you'll find one of the most striking views of the Swordcoast, picturesque some might even call it - only Rosymorn is prettier and, well, that's Rosymorn.

Just look at our city's landmarks!

There's Sorcerous Sundries right there! If you are really quiet you might hear the faintest cries of an apprentice getting beaten up - or perhaps the sound comes from the Szarr Palace on the other side. Hard to tell, sometimes. There's so many pretty places where people get beaten up, tortured, bled out, hexed, torn apart... You know how it is.

Anyway! Don't stick your head in a barrel (*laughter, applause*), rather enjoy the fresh sea air.

Well and then our heroes might have ambushed the bank Robin Hood style from the next building by throwing crates and bombs on it.

Iolith's bard career was very short-lived by the way. She has the entertainer background but we think she might have been a twitch streamer because her musical talent is below zero.

Ahhh ... Szarr palace

The gothic monstrosity awkwardly lurking between upper and lower city which for no apparent reason has no normal entrance.

Would you believe me if I told you it was haunted?

Climbing the city walls the first signs of paranormal activity become apparent. Vases, defying the laws of physics and magic, stuck to the outside of the building.

Of course our stack-positive adventurers couldn't let that slide uncommented. A nice little stack would show the ghosts their place.

The entry hall was in a state of utter chaos. Floating chairs, dead staff, hovering candlesticks, paintings turned upside down - the poltergeists must have worked overtime. (Apfel and Iolith swear they found it like that.)

Astarion visited the office of his old master and luckily his friends took the whole ordeal very seriously.

After a heated battle our heroes found themselves facing another difficult challenge in the ballroom. A lot of furniture got lost stuck in the floor but eventually Apfel and Iolith were satisfied with their home improvement efforts.

(Our friends didn't want Astarion to ascend but their approval was too low so he left the party, yelling he hopes they die screaming. It took me two workdays to recover.) I hope you enjoyed our tour through Szarr Palace and look forward to the next installment. @johnlarian please never fix your game <3
