3. “It’s a sunny and relaxing holiday; I’m wearing my pretty, white dress. I left the house while humming. My trembling voice is like drums in your heart. The twinkling sound of a bell rings.”
4. Kim Jonghyun prepares to shoot View in Thailand, in a Curtis Mayfield tank top, reading ‘And here’s… something to believe in.’ View, very unexpectedly, took one of MAMA 2015′s grandest prizes for ‘Best Male Dance Performance of The Year’. An unforgettable promotion set, after SHINee’s fairly vacant 2014. I, too, feel a thousand senses. I, too, feel the weight of scent.
5. Cross Gene’s Takuya shoots for ‘The Lover’ - a K-Drama in which he took on 19+ same-sex intimate scenes to seduce Lee Jae Joon’s character - such as this one, using an ice-cream spoon.
6. Umji (meaning ‘Thumb’ in Korean)’s opening spotlight for G-Friend’s Glass Bead debut stage. Girlfriend have had one of the most successful debut years in girl group history, becoming little short of a national treasure within only 12 months, with their concept - one of playful, youthful, traditionally romantic ‘innocent-powerful’ energy. Just like the sparkling dew under the moon, it once seemed like G-Friend would disappear. They haven’t yet.
7. V begins a dodgems ride with rising star Park Bogum. The two have been the topic of much swirling conversation throughout the year, since they were spotted on a ‘quiet date’ in July, with Taehyung’s work (and mischief-making) as a member of top-tier Bangtan, both on and off the music show stage, and Bogum’s hosting alongside Irene and starring role in Reply 1988.

9. “The weather is still a bit cold, so I put on a large cardigan - and slippers, rather than sneakers - and I opened the door. At that moment, everything turned white. I opened my tightly shut eyes again. With a light smile, I moved my slippered feet onto the street.”
10. Blue-yellow swimming floats for G-Dragon, Taeyang and Hwang Kwanghee. Kwanghee has appeared slightly less this year, perhaps, than in previous years, but has sustained a couple of highly rated lead variety roles. Amidst professional conflicts, word of waning health and a rather excessive weight loss habit, Kwanghee’s warm friendship with the BIGBANG members remains lightly solid. Wishing Jiyong, Youngbae and Kwanghee all the best for the year that follows.
