My take on the LLTBP lore that is currently happening
Okay so..I realize I have like no followers or anything at all and little to no internet presence and also doubt anybody will actually see this, but I think I solved the tour’s lore, and the video they added to their website called chapter one with the PHANTOM style text on the bottom just pushed my delusion further. I started theorizing this back in February of this year during the Latin leg. Please enjoy my thought process
SPOILER WARNING FOR THE KILLJOYS COMIC
The Black Parade were a group of young activists in Dragg who spoke up about the government, and were hated by the grand immortal dictator for their values. They were performing in Mexico when they were killed in an ‘accidental fire’ but I don't think it was accidental at all..
The killing of The Black Parade had the opposite effect that the government thought it would. They thought that killing them would make the public stop, fall silent, and forget. But after the death of The Black Parade, people became outraged as more news sources covered the story about the fire.
Meanwhile, across the ocean in Battery City, California, a group of vigilantes were causing a massive uproar by trying to free the public from the holds of B.L.I, an evil corporation that owned the city and wanted a utopia and had heavy restrictions on the public. The vigilantes being the Killjoys and were very similar to The Black Parade and B.L.I also wanted to stop them. So B.L.I took something that they cared about and would fight to the death for, Missile Kid. While trying to save Missile Kid from B.L.I, they ‘died’ in the process. In the comic, you can survive being hit by the zap gun. You're just stuck in limbo where you are a ghost essentially, and your physical body is unconscious for an unknown amount of time. For example, when Missile Kid was shot during the day, and the in limbo scene, but woke back up at night.
So while they were in limbo, they were taken into the B.L.I headquarters and ‘reset’ with the tube, which is also shown in the comic when they corrected people who even made the smallest mistakes (as shown with Korse because he was gay, let a robot flee the city line, and didn't make the quota). But now, since the Killjoys were major criminals in the city after ‘resetting’ them (for fear of remembering), they sent them to a different country, Dragg, more specifically The Moat in Dragg.
And so, they were to be turned into puppets by the facility during the Latin America leg, that is the prequel to the first leg, and now the second leg as confirmed by the Rockville festival. During “Sleep” in the Latin leg, we are shown that everybody was corrected by the secretary, the clerk, the dictator, and The Killjoys—but not Sylvia, the head nurse, meaning she is the only one being authentic. 100% normal. That means she is behind it all, secretly being disguised as an elite in the Dragg society, using all the reconditioned people as puppets for her bidding. She is the real dictator, and everybody else is a puppet.
So far that's all I’ve got, mainly because the second leg hasn't officially started and I would need a few more shows to continue my theory, or to prove that it is true. But with the drop of the Danger Days deluxe version being confirmed today, and their website updating with a short video where it shows a live broadcast of Route Guano, then a bunch of static cutting to a B.L.I stand by screen with a clock and the time being 5:20 (I have no clue what the numbers on the top left corner mean AT ALL). But I think some very interesting things are going to happen, possibly over the course of the next month until the second leg officially starts.
My friend Baesho pointed out a potential theory though: “Also do you think the last chapter will be mcr 5? For the ‘new’ characters cause we never actually heard them sing about themselves after reconditioning..” so maybe some mcr 5 copium to cling onto for a few months….
