You can question their choice of flag but it isn’t the progress flag with the trans colors removed, it’s the Philadelphia pride flag. It’s been around since 2017.

I haven’t really seen it much outside of Pennsylvania in real life, I saw it at Pittsburg pride and a couple other Pennsylvania pride parades when I visit family that lives there in the summer. but I have seen it online a lot. The choice to use this flag instead of the more widely recognized and used progress pride flag is a weird choice.
