[DBGT AU] Super 18 - Sentient

This is a GT AU for my version of Super 18 I was working on in 2023. Here Bulma is working on Clone 18 way before the Super 17 arc kicked off. I had the idea of her making synthetic clone fighters in secret to use in case the main team went down they'd have some back up or stalling tactic.

She'd begin working on the synthetic clones after repairing Android 16, using Gero's old schematics as a template, and making tweaks to where they benefit the main team by giving them cores that can regulate the energy and or provide an extra source if a fighter needed (no bombs-energy safe).

The synthetic clones can also be fused with a compatible other. It starts out a blank slate what Bulma doesn't know is that the clone can absorb the memories of the main host and act gain a conscious which becomes a problem for normal 18 later in their fused consciousness.

I wanted to go in a Capsule Corp vs Red Ribbon direction. I'm working on Page 5 of the main comic so I'll repost the first few pages once I have that done.

Howdy, this question is more for curiosity than anything Did Vegeta [or god forbid] Goku get an accidental student from Sento Saiyans?-🍀

Yeah! and turns out this little one will end up saving his life.

In the story, this Sento girl had already taken an interest in Vegeta (curious about a saiyan who smells like them but doesnt look like them). When Vegeta is fighting Orran, Orran basically hits Vegeta's chest cavity so hard that the force causes him to go into cardiac-arrest. The Sento girl had already been following him around Planet Sento but found him washed up unconscious on the beach when he dropped from the air. She jump-starts his heart and revives him.

what do you think the Sentos would be like during the XV3 and/or DB Online era?

If it's Age 1000, they'd likely be well-integrated into modern society. Interracial variants of them would be around with their iconic facial hue of various tones but Pure Sentos would be probably be a rare sight unless you visit the main planet.

Love, dbz Sento-Saiyans, especially Orran! But as for my question, I wanted to know if Orran was a natural born Saiyan and not a mutant-Saiyan. What would he look like as Saiyan Elite Warrior, and what would his power level be as well?! Would it be on the same level as Buu Saga Vegeta, equal to the first movie, Broly or far surpass them?!

Orran is mutant-born but he has the mindset/ideals of the original U7 Saiyans from DBZ. He retains the ideal of the identity of [Saiyan]. The pride, the ego, the desire to be a dominant force.

Orran is the outcast of the Sentos because he doesn't believe in peace in therapy like his father (The Elder) pushes for in their society. He sees it as it holding the culture back or repressing their true saiyan nature that shouldn't be contained. He's an anarchist and doesn't care if the end-result is his people in their unchecked state of Great Apes forms destroy the planet. He cares about the freedom to live or die as one's true self. No restrictions/rules. Quite literally ape-shit.

As Orran is now as a Sento Saiyan, at his full Legendary power, he'd possibly scale at god level. In the story, the cataracts in his eyes allow for him to see ki in its raw/purest form and predict the movement of the person based on how the ki around them flows. God ki gives off a lot of condensed ki for him to accurately track and thus high prediction rates of when he fights Goku and Vegeta in their god forms.

If he were in DBZ, I'd have him scale to likely a little closer to Perfect Cell.

He can adapt his body better to and or fight ki-users. He's at a severe disadvantage with robots/non-ki users. Plus, it'd be funny to imagine him having issues with Android fighters because he can't see them at all.

in the good timeline nain (the hot scientist lady from bio broly) is the one who has a segment of niche crack shippers consistently pairing her up with z broly. love the fandom and the wide variety of lovely, skilled fanartists that come with it but people gunning for the little village girl kinda reminds me why that one ssj4 gogeta image is a meme

The woe of being in the Broly niche is witnessing godforsaken pairings where it makes you question the person above everything else.

Sento Whistleblowers

They're basically miners who harvest volcanic ash in the tropical regions to use for mainly the coloring of their clothes and or trading material. The mask they wear acts as both a custom respirator and a bone-whistle for if they need to signal for others nearby.

Hey Bahn, what’s your opinion on the civilian aspect of Dragon Ball? What do I mean by “Civilian”? People who are just…people. They don’t really stand out much but I personally love them, especially Goten and Trunk’s classmates:

(Though I do believe the civilian aspect of Dragon Ball could also be enhanced, hence my capsule corp oc).

I like them!

The humans can be just as compelling. Even though we don't have them present for very long, they're a good breath of fresh air for the slice of life segments. I hope to see more of the shenanigans really. The love stuff is ok but I like the misadventures more.
