Calligraffiti in Chicago, Illinois
CALLIGRAFFITI?!?!
This is incredible... I'm not sure if this was the intent or not, but the aesthetic of it (down to the font choice) reminds me of Kristallnacht (The Night of Broken Glass) in Nazi Germany on November 9–10, 1938, while the graffitied message hits as hard as this one did from the Attentats du 13 Novembre 2015 en Paris (November 2015 Paris Attacks):
Image description: A single red rose with a small card attached that reads, “Au nom de quoi?” (“In the name of what?”) placed through a bullet hole in the window of a Japanese restaurant next to ‘La Belle Equipe’ on Rue de Charonne, after a series of coordinated terrorist attacks carried out by Islamic State militants at multiple locations in Paris and the northern suburb of Saint-Denis resulted in the massacre of 130 people with hundreds more injured | Photographer: Loic Venance
