the type of people the world gives you -Â
light:
glows when they talk, dewy eyes, radiates with a blessing from the sun, calm in the air and goodness in their hearts
ocean:Â
bodies full of stories, a will that ebbs and flows, lazy smiles, no real devotion to anything but existence itself, wordless lullabies
earth:Â
minds like caverns, hands like stone, to hold or to hurt, heavy irises, earthquake tempers, stubborn desire for constant reconstruction
poison:Â
an inexplicable sense of sharpness, hot tears, decaying cores, irreversible tornadoes and infectious whispers
I hope you meet the right people in 2017, those who will appreciate you and won’t take you for granted. But if you happen to come across people who just want to use you, I hope you know when to walk away.

You learn a lot when you go to college. You learn that pulling an all-nighter means staying up all night to study for a test you will then sleep through. You learn to appreciate the taste of beer- the cheapest of all alcoholic beverages. You learn that you can roll out of bed 10 minutes before class and go to class looking like shit-and no one will notice or care. You learn you really can do things for yourself without your parents looking over your shoulder—but you also learn you never realized how nice it was to have them there, just in case. More than anything, however, you learn how much your friends really mean to you. College friends come to mean a lot to you, but they can never compare to your friends from home. Your friends from home teach you the meaning of friendship during your college years. Because you are apart from them you tend to express your feelings more —- you learn how much these people truly affect your life.

self-confidence, i’m realizing, is a lot deeper than just thinking i’m beautiful and being free in who i am. it also includes being confident in my decisions and trusting myself to be committed to the things i want to do. to step outside of my comfort zone and assure myself that i will be okay in doing so. this kind of self-confidence will help me see the success i want to see.
lmao no offense.. but what’s the point of being mean to people for no reason
we do a lot of stuff we don’t realise like breaking someone’s heart and never suspecting they had a crush on us, or having your hand on your boob for 3 hours straight
“It scares me to death to think that one day I might look back into my life and realize that I lived it painfully ordinary.”
It helps to write down your fears in a piece of paper and then ripping it up, in case you were wondering
You gotta act like shit don’t phase you, even if it does.
isn’t it weird that you can have friends but also have no friends at the same time
