In 'To Fool a Fool', we had a unique vision in mind for our UI and graphics and that was to pull from historic illuminated manuscript art. Here, is our current WIP for the Chapter 1 banner that you'll see in demo. The style itself is a challenge as we have to blend the look of not just the style but of the linework and coloring techniques in digital format, nevermind symbolism. It also allows us to explore ways to help drive home that To Fool a Fool is it's own world, and not a historical 1:1 of our own.

As you play the story of TFaF, you'll naturally have to make some choices. Not all choices however, are without consequence. From dragons, to bandits, to a King's rage, your story could end anytime.

When I had Mocha do a playtest, the placeholders were still present and I hadn't bothered to resize anything. Needless to say, it's a lil hard to make a serious scene when you only have silly sprites.
