Broccoli

Hello, i am a little stressed right now, so let’s make some healthy dinner.

wash one broccoli, you know the whole head, don’t forget to cut it up first. Then you will need 8 eggs, you will only use yolks, so have something ready to store the whites in.

mix the 8 yolks with broccoli, be careful, it spills easily, then you put it into oven, coveredof course and bake on whatever temperature, we usually did 150°C, until the egg yolks are no longer liquid.

this might have been a little too much, you let it cool a little and add salt or pepper, how do you like it

Clocks strike the third hour and some suspicious crows fly away, startled by the sound of bells. The student center is not as big as you expected, it’s supposed to serve many purposes, from student networking, through club meetings, to tutoring sessions. It also holds the college pool and indoor gym. At the door is standing a nervous freshman. She has earphones with brightly colored buds in her ears and a black hat. Her hair reflect the sun when she tilts her head while ripping her headphones out and stuffing them in a pocket of grey sweater she is wearing and is that an apron? 

“You are here!” she practically bounces on her feet in excitement and leads you all into the building. “It’s really confusing guys, I couldn’t find the small kitchen at first and there are no plans, I had to ask. The directions are kind of confusing, but it should be right-“ she stops suddenly in front of big double doors “here.” Finishing her sentence she pushes the door open. They reveal nice kitchen about a size of normal middle school classroom, it is fully fitted and through three pairs of windows and one glass door, you can see something green. The plague reads “The Herb garden” and has a little clover painted at it. The girl turns around grinning “Hi, I am Nickname, welcome to the first meeting of the Baking Cooking club, shall we begin?”

The cooking class

It is early afternoon and the September sun gently shines on the campus of Elsewhere University. You don’t know why you are here- shut up, they do know, all of them sent their applications silly. Wind is blowing only slightly and the weather is kind to those souls who wish to spend their day only in shirt and a sweater. The only exception seems to be the North dorm which – is a dwelling of winter spirits, a frozen place where summer’s heat never – has problems with air conditioning. Some of you are new, some of you are more experienced, but all of you are college students – among those silly humans dwell – I said all. College students as a rule don’t tend to be very prepared for life. They don’t know how to properly wash their clothes, their room could use a service of a cleaning lady - they don’t wear their iron – and they are spending their money on unhealthy fast foods meals and snacks from vending machines. You may have come here to learn many things, to catch real word in a glass lenses of a camera, to capture moving creatures on a canvas, to vow beautiful words like a yarn into a mesmerizing pattern, - to take those that belong rightfully to you, those that foolishly promised – but right now, you are going to learn how to bake and cook.

Next week

For our session next week I have prepared recipe for cheescake which I have from my mum. I am looking forward to trying to bake it here because it was always a nightmare with our oven. I will bring the supplies myself this week for one cheescake, if you want more cakes, let me know and we will work something out.
