not my usual theme, but i wanted to say how much i loved heartstopper forever, and especially the scene between tori and charlie on the rink. it made me cry, honestly. as an aroace person who was in a romantic relationship, struggling to understand my feelings, my place in it, while my view of what partnership looked like changed, i feel extremely seen by the way tori explains their relationship with michael and how it may change in the future or it may not, but they have each other the way they do, and they are both comfortable with it, and i just love it. one day, i hope to find a person with whom i'm not afraid to be seen.

okay but I need to ramble about like. isaac being explicitly included amongst all the couple-y stuff. elle saying that they'll all be at a drag brunch and isaac will still be able to read in the corner because it's not his thing but they want him there. the epilogue where he isn't on his own but with charlie because he is still part of their future.

like idk it's nothing really but just alice going out of their way to show an aroace character being included and loved by their friends even as they have their magical relationships I'm. yeah.

i know i should be crying over the nick and charlie scenes (and i did) but damn that scene of tori explaining her relationship with michael hit me like a truck. i think i like the book coming out scene more than the movie one, but her explaining what seems to be her QPR with michael was so beautiful and i have never seen anything like that in a tv show or movie. i had to pause the movie cause i was just crying. i felt so seen.

The scene with Tori and Charlie at the ice skating rink is so important to me! The way tori explained her queer platonic relationship!! Its a small scene but its so important to keep it in the movie!
