I’d forgotten this but you’re right. I think it started earlier though, it started when we started out performing them on exams. Then suddenly all our schoolwork was easy and we were being rewarded for just showing up.

I think a lot of it as well is with the income of all this technology that we find super easy to use. Like to the point where it’s kind of scary. 

Remember when we were like 7-12ish (this is when I started on forums) and all the adults were like, “Don’t talk to strangers on the internet!” It was like this until it got to the point where we were telling them about friends from other cultures, opening up out ideas about things they have no concept of. There’s also the increase in being interested in design, coding, computers and science.

And honestly, I think it scared them a lot too. We could do things and we knew things they never even had on their minds. Things like digital nomadism, basic income, living in space ffs and using total green energy. 

This scared them. This scared them a lot and when we were young they could flip it off. But now they can’t do it they decide to demonize us. And it’s funny because who’s going to control the world in 5? 10 years? Us.
