LADY PERSEPHONE SAID THAT YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP WITH LORD THANATOS' BROKEN WING.
- ACAMAR.
Ah. I assume it needs some sort of splinting? If that is the case then I should be able to help.

Magical Summer: Round 1 Pink 3
The Oracle v Yen Sid
Who is the better magical being?
The Oracle
Yen Sid
The Oracle :: Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996)
An all-knowing spirit trapped in a staff who knows everything -- past, present, and future -- and can answer any person but one single question truthfully. Not only does the Oracle ultimately reunite Aladdin with his long-lost father, but it also guides the way to a Vanishing Isle that never appears in the same place twice.
Yen Sid :: Fantasia (1940) and beyond
There wouldn't be a Sorcerer Mickey without this guy! He also has a lot of cool jobs after Fantasia (and we're trying not to be offended he wasn't everyone's first submission.)
Aaand here we go...
Starboy
A Gravity Falls fan fiction story by Minerva DeNitti.
Rated: PG-13.
Pairing: Dr. Stanford Pines and my OC.
Notes: I go for feelings, but not for smut. So of that's what you are looking for you will not find it here. I will place trigger and content warnings with each chapter as I go. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy my angst.
Prologue:
Years Before in Another Dimension
The Oracle understood the young man was in love with her. But she also knew it was misplaced. He wasn't in love with her. He was infatuated with the idea of her. She had the answers he had been seeking. She had silenced the voice of the nefarious demon echoing ceaselessly in his mind. She had ended the torture that lead to his months-long self-abuse. She had given him undeniable peace to the point he questioned if he had died.
Thus was the nature of the Oracle. But his infatuation was a lie. The boy was simply trying to repair the rift he had stupidly torn in his own heart years before. The doctor wasn't the first to pass into her realm and fall victim to emotions of affection. Her dimension was a lonely place, desolate at the best of times. The weary travelers often found solace in her motherly comfort.
But the Oracle knew the boy would go home eventually, and there was so much more waiting for him there than she could give him.
The fact was that she was waiting for him to return, even if neither of the lovers knew it.
The boy stirred through a fitful slumber as the Oracle looked down upon him, placing a gentle hand to his cheek, rough with the day's stubble. "Stanford Filbrick Pines," she whispered softly. As if by magic, his tremors calmed at her touch. She continued. "You are destined for many great things. But you must return to the one you left behind." The boy's eyes danced behind their lids. "Yes, she still waits for you, my dear doctor. You know of whom I speak. Your goddess upon whom you bestowed a star." The line of his mouth gently turned up. "She's mourned you for so long, believing you were lost for good. But she still hopes, prays even, as she burns her wishes daily by candlelight."
The Oracle gently caressed a brunette curl upon the boy's brow, and a smile played at her lips as the man gave a peaceful hum in his sleep.
"She is what you seek, Stanford. You know this. She is the peace and wisdom you have sought for so long, but denied yourself. She is your protector, and a guardian against the evils of your world. And when you find her, you will finally be at home in your own dimension once more. I promise you, she is waiting. Now...go home!"
Ford's eyes shot open and he sat up at once, convinced he had felt a kiss the Oracle had placed upon his brow in a dreamy haze. Stars momentarily blinded his vision, but he could see even before placing his glasses to rights that he was alone. The Oracle had left him. He would never see her again.
He laid back, his head pounding from the libations of the evening before, his wounds from the metal plate slowly healing. He tried to decide if the words he had heard were real or just some dream that was continuing to mess with his consciousness. After being possessed by Bill, it had become hard to tell. Would the plate be so effective so quickly, if at all? What had she said? He closed his eyes, willing himself to remember. She's still waiting? Nonsense!
Ford didn't dare to think of her in that way, if at all. It was asking for trouble. It had been bad enough that he had dragged Fiddleford into his mess, destroying one of his closest friendships in the process. Instead, he steeled his mind and pushed down the memories of happiness he had with her. Otherwise, Bill could use it against him. Against all of them. Against her.
Ford grimaced. And if that maniac ever did anything to her, I'd never forgive myself, the young doctor thought bitterly.
The words of the Oracle fading, he grabbed his gear and readied himself to walk out into the unknown once again. I won't lie to myself though, he thought evenly as he looked out into the gray plains of the dimension. I do miss her. He wouldn't return to his own dimension for years, but as he took his first steps, he hummed a song she had loved from ages before, unsure if he was even getting the words correct.
"My poor heart is sentimental, not made of wood, I've got it bad and that ain't good..."
Mmm adding lore to a minor Gravity Falls character for Drifting Stars because I can
