3 year old Supergirl warm up drawing I slapped some colors on. Original was pen and ink with inkwash shading.
Had a bit of time so I guess I just had to draw Wonder Woman as well to complete the trinity.
All right, back to making (non superhero) comics.
Thought I should do a little Batman drawing as well after the Superman one, especially since Matt Reeves' The Batman sequel just started shooting (and it will be set in winter! Oh yes!).
Anyway, I might have gotten carried away a bit.
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...the first time I drew Superman? 🤔 That can't be right. TBF as much as I like the character I don't usually have an excuse to draw him, but it's weird that I did at least 2 Supergirl sketches before even attempting the big blue boy scout. Anyway, I spent way too much time on this, so if you think it's anything worth looking at please leave a like or check out my (non superman related) books (links in my bio).
Still on the witch hat atelier hype train (TBF, never left it) so did a little piece of Coco and her brush buddy.
Into the bin with you! Another random page I like from an unused project. I hope I don't sound too negative with all these "rejected projects", I'm just busy working on stuff that hopefully won't be rejected, so might as well post my backlog from the bottom of the virtual drawer in the meantime.
That's a darn big moth! Did they summon it accidentally with their magical dancing? I might post all these pages one day in sequential order. I REALLY hate these creatures so I tried to draw it as cartoonishly as possible.
Another page from a thing that I won't make more of (for now at least). I might one day post all these pages from different rejected pitches, because I don't like the idea of just keeping them hidden forever. I had fun working on them. They are witches btw and she is about to summon some accidental magic by dancing to the chimney sweep bit in Mary Poppins.
Since I got some more stuff that was part of projects that won't get made (in their current for at least) I might as well just post them, cause I had fun drawing them. This was my attempt at the most slice of life story I could come up with based on some late 2000s/early 2010s nostalgia I had at the time. A project that got made though is A bite of Pepper, which I haven't posted about in a hot second. Available now from any book seller!

I've recently read the first volume of Kelly Thompson and Hayden Sherman's Absolute Wonder Woman and loved it so much I've decided to excavate the pens and paper from the depths of the drawers, cause I just had to draw this witchy version of Diana and her adorable skeleton Pegasus.

It's been a while since I posted, I'm just busy cooking up stuff and looking out my kitchen window, watching the crows and the squirrels rummage in the autumn leaves. Anyway, here is a little seasonal WIP from something I'm working on atm.
