Swedish Film History : Set of stamps
Körkarlen (The Phantom Carriage) - Victor Sjöström - 1921 / Intermezzo - Gustaf Molander - 1936 / Viskningar och Rop (Cries And Whispers) - Ingmar Bergman - 1972 / Gösta Berlings Saga - Mauritz Stiller - 1926 / Hets (Torment) - Alf Sjöberg - 1924
I’ve never really been a stamp collector (it’s mainly the Bergman related stamps here: Cries And Whispers and also Torment, Bergman’s first film as a writer I was interested in of course) but I do kind of love stamps and their graphical qualities and how photographic images are rendered into lines and hatching as they are here.
