How to Get to T-Rex Kelingking Secret Point Beach
The easiest options getting to Kelingking Secret Point Beach is to hop on a speedboat from Sanur Beach to Nusa Penida Island. And the island, which are accessible via a 40 to 50-minute boat ride. There are some operators that do speed boat transfers from Sanur Beach to Nusa Penida Island and back.
Such as Maruti Express, Angelâs Billabong Fast Cruise, Mola-Mola Express and much more. It doesnât matter which one you go with as long as the timing suits you. The speed boat ticket is 175,000 IDR per person for each way, and can be bought at the pier and leave at least once a day starting.
There are public ferry Padang Bai in East Bali, and the cost is much cheaper then speed boat, but taking around 2 hours the reach the island. A passenger ferry ticket is 31,000 IDR per person for each way and can be purchased at 10:00 am inside the building marked âLoketâ.
From the harbor you can rent bike for IDR 75k a day but be ready for bumpy road and many hole to avoid and this take more energy. As long as you enjoying riding motorbike and no rush you will fine. The view from up there is one to remember, and certainly worth exhausting your muscles from the ascend. The walk down to the beach takes around an hour and is only secured with a bamboo rail. They are not greatly maintained so please donât put 100% of your weight on them and be safe if you venture down!
Once youâve reached the sand, youâll have it all to yourself most of the time. Depending on tide conditions, the waters are swimmable. However, note that the undercurrents can be strong, and being the remote site that it is, there are no lifeguards around. Here is a great little tip for enjoying Kelingking Secret Point Beach from a unique angle. Instead of hiking down the stairs, head to the right along the cliffs. There is a worn path along the cliff edge but no railing so be careful. And here you will find multiple epic viewpoints, with arguably a better look at the beach than the hike.

Kelingking beach can be visited at anytime of the day, and best time to visit is between March and November, avoiding the rainy season which is December through till February.

Visit to the Kelingking and Viewpoint are subject to an entrance fee of 10,000 IDR per person, and 5,000 IDR for parking. And the payment should be cash in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), so please prepare small cash before you come here.
