She’d invited him over. The first time they met had been short lived by it being a simple meet and greet backstage and other fans had been dying to meet him. Of course they did, of course he would be busy all night. After he’d been swarmed by them, she snuck out with her attendants, choosing to forget his proposal for dinner.
Alone in her room, all dressed and ready, she held her pillow close, thinking over what she could say and what they could do when he arrived. Her attendants took the trouble to invite him over for her–she wasn’t just going to sit there and quietly be awkward.
The moment the doorbell rang, she jumped to her feet and tossed her pillow back onto the bed. Taking a deep breath, she opened her bedroom door and descended down the stairs.
“It’s him, isn’t it?” She asked a nearby maid, whom she’d heard walking around. With confirmation, she stopped at the bottom step and the door was opened to allow him inside. “Welcome, Mr. Kururugi…Did you find the place alright?”
"I did. Thanks for allowing me to visit you," Suzaku said and he approached Kiri and gently held her hand as he smiled. "Also, call me Suzaku. I want you to try to relax around me as much as you can. Is there anything you want to do?"
'Kiri still seems nervous around me. Hopefully once we go do something she likes, she will calm down.'
