You all may have noticed that I’ve stopped posting tips a while ago. That’s because I started to feel very self concious about my dancing and really aware that I need to work on a lot of things so I didn’t feel qualified to post advice anymore. I started thinking about deleting this blog but I like answering questions and helping you out. But now I’m goig to leave for boarding school tomorrow and I will stop using this account (that includes ballethacks) for while I’m there. If you still want to ask me something on here, I will look at this blog whenever I am at home. If you are interested in my stuff or for my friends I made on here, I have a new account for boarding which is dance/studyblr/music to keep me motivated so if you want to see my personal journey go follow @thoughtful-chaos Thank you for your support, I am still astonished by the amount of followers I got. On a side note I thought 123 posts and 111 followers were nice numbers to end on

Shout out to all these little dancers who focus so much on ballet bc I hate it and I could never and you’re amazing
Shout out all these little dancers who have no plans on dancing after high school and just wanna enjoy the thrill of the competition world while it lasts bc there’s no shame in having fun
Shout out to all these little dancers who can’t turn like tops or put their leg behind their ear bc they just weren’t born like that and have to watch their classmates do things that are harder for them with ease and feel like no one understands how hard they work bc I admire your tenacity
Shout out to all these little dancers who are so young, yet know what they want and are out to get it bc you’re destined for great things
Shout out to all these little dancers who are considered “too fat” or have been told they aren’t skinny enough for whatever or are battling an eating disorder bc you’re awesome and you can overcome
Shout out to all these little dancers who are struggling financially or aren’t “rich” so they can’t compete or can’t take as many classes as more fortunate little dancers bc your passion for dance is so beautiful and you don’t need all the glitz and glamour to be great
Shout out to all these little dancers who got a late start and just wanna look like Sophia Lucia already bc I feel you and your time is coming
Shout out to all these little dancers who battle things like anxiety bc even though it may not seem like it but you are so brave and I’m so proud of you
Shout out to all these little dancers whose home lives are difficult and use dance as an outlet bc you are so brave and you deserve better
Shout out to all these little dancers who are just as talented as our faves but don’t get the same recognition bc amount of fame has nothing to do with level of talent
JUST SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF YOU LITTLE DANCERS OUT THERE

To dance is to reach for a word that doesn’t exist, To sing the heartsong of a thousand generations, To feel the meaning of a moment in time.
