Negan could see you werenât having the best day today. It wasnât uncommon, you would wake up feeling kinda sick from anxiety or feel really sad randomly from the depression you buried deep within your soul each day. Nobody knows how to treat you when youâre upset or anxious, they always just leave you to deal with it all alone or just call you lazy, but Negan was the only person who actually understood how to treat you, how to look after you.
Right now, you had just woken up, it was roughly 10am and sunlight was shining through the curtains like something out of a fairy tale, grazing every surface with a golden glow. You felt that pit of sadness and anxiety grow in your stomach- why? Who knows, you had only just opened your eyes. Regardless, you were feeling vulnerable, scared and lonely- you needed him, you needed Negan. Slowly turning over in the cozy double bed, you see him, still asleep. Cautiously, you nuzzle his stubbly jaw with your soft lil button nose- trying to wake him up.
After kissing his cheek multiple times, he wakes up with some sleepy grumbles, grumpy because you had woken him but at least he was awake with you now, at least you had someone to comfort your troubled mind. âWhatâs goin on angel, hm? Why you wakinâ me?â He murmurs, still waking up.
You just look up at him, brain thinking too much right now for words. After not hearing a response, Negan knows somethingâs up with his girl. He takes your soft, squidgy, sad face in his big, calloused, tattooed hands and just looks in your eyes for some sign of communication, he just saw sadness, stress, anxiety and the way your lips part slightly as if you were going to talk. No words come out. All Negan does is peck your cheeks, nose, eyelids, head and all over, just sweet pecks with his prickly beard gently rubbing against ur face, in a weird way it was comforting because it meant daddyâs here.
âSâok sugar, yâhavinâ a rough time? Sâok, I gotchaâHe mumbles softly in that tone he only uses for you, the one that makes him sound like heâs talking to a scared baby deer. He sees youâre trying to talk, thinking about what to say- instead of rushing you like most assholes do, he strokes your long, soft, pretty hair patiently waiting, listening for any words.
âN-Neganâ you say hesitantly, scared somethings gonna happen. What? Who knows, itâs just that silly anxious feeling you feel.
âItâs ok honey Iâm right here, hm? Daddyâs here babyâ he coos âainât nothin to worry bout sweetnessâ Negan was always so gentle and sweet to you, no matter what, you werenât sure if it was because you were significantly younger than him or if he was just over protective- either way you loved it.
