There is a profound revolution going on. No-one knows where it's gonna take us. What we know is that virtual reality is at its center, as an important engine. Here are some of my rambling thoughts and sentiments and hopes about it. I'll try to stay optimistic.
Leaders know more about their citizens than ever. But also citizens know more about their leaders than ever before. Democracy is changing. The 19th century representative democracy seems like such an old ideology. There is something new coming. It might be good -- it might be bad.
We are angry at the previous generations for hanging onto homophobia, nationalism and animal abuse -- and most of all we despise them for worshipping money. We hate the industry that tries to define our lifestyle. It shackles us. It destroys the nature. We don't want to inherit your shallow consumer industry and your filthy money. You can hold on to it and take it with you to the beyond.
We want clean soil and air. We want nice vegetarian food. We want open society with enough space for free collective action and individual expression. We want FUN!
Consumer industry must go. Animal abuse must go. Old tiresome SAFE bureaucracy must go. Give us freedom: there are a lot of good things we need to do.
A French guy was kidnapped by Taleban and was kept in a hole in the ground for four months. He managed to get a hold of one sheet of paper and a pen. He wrote down a wish list for his life after he was freed.
Read it through, maybe it will help you appreciate what you have.
