today i told my mom something and asked her not to tell anyone. i walked in on her telling my aunt over the phone. when i reminded her that i asked her that i asked her not to tell she says “your aunt isn’t anyone” AND NOW SHES WONDERING WHY IM UPSET WITH HER? GIRL PLS

four months ago i told my cousin i wanted to do a 13 Going on 30 theme for my 30th birthday party because it’s been my favourite movie since i was about 5. last night i got an invitation to her “thirty, flirty, and thriving” birthday party. but I’m not allowed to be mad about it because i don’t turn 30 until 2034.

Saw this at the store the other day, and it made me really happy to see. Good to know some management cares about how respected their cashiers are.

Don't talk on the phone while you're checking out at a store. If the phone call is really that urgent, step aside and let someone else go first while you wrap up your phone call.

Cashiers sometimes need to ask questions, which makes you being on the phone an interference with their ability to do their job. It can also hold up the line if you're on your phone while checking out, creating an unnecessary inconvenience for those in line behind you. Overall using the phone while being rung up shows a lack for respect for both the cashier's time and other customers' time. Also many who talk on the phone when they're checking out wouldn't just be talking on the phone during any other type of interaction, so it can be taken as a sign that you don't believe cashiers deserve your attention as much as other people do.

west indian parents are so annoying. why do they feel they can insult my friends and tell me they’re ugly or they look old for their ages but when i talk about their friends it’s disrespectful. let’s keep the same energy. (also, i’m literally 20, not that it matters to them).

the amount of able-bodied, child free customers who get mad at me from not letting them use our stores only disabled/family fitting room is crazy. we have multiple, perfectly fine rooms you can use because you don’t have to worry about wheel chairs or strollers not being able to pass the door. i don’t care how “fast” you can try clothes on. the customer coming in right after you could be someone that actually needs the room and i am not going to to tell them they can’t use the room because you were too lazy to walk around the corner. you are not special, have some fucking human decency.
