@ban-midou
Aika was walking over to the Honkey Tonk where the negotiator asked her to be by 5 pm. She sighed as she walked inside the coffee shop where she saw Ban. She went over to him and clapping her hands she bent down a bit, "Take the job for me please."
((oh my gosh I never saw your reply to the other post until now. I am so so sorry D:))
Ban watched her and blinked, only barely knowing her. She seemed to be desperate to ask him in such a way and he seemed to be frozen for words. He raised an eyebrow and leaned forward on his table “Job, eh?”
//it’s ok, don’t worry about it ^^ how have you been? ^^
She nodded before looking up at him, “Miss Hevn called over to Madoka’s asking for Shido but he isn’t around so I got stuck with the mess.” She took a seat beside him and sighed, “It’s not like I can’t do it, I’m just not that good of fighter and judging the last few jobs she’s given it mostly consists on putting your life in the line.”
It was odd though, now that she thought about it. Hevn usually called Ban-kun or Gin-chan first for a retrival mission but for the past few days she’s been calling for Shido. She looked over at the jagan user a bit confused, “Have you done something to Hevn?”
((Really busy o.e” Work loves to never give me time to breathe and personal stuff takes up a lot of time xD))
Ban listened to the girl’s words intently, but with the non-nonchalant look to his stature. However, as soon as he heard her question about Hevn he scoffed and looked away. “I didn’t do anything to her! She just likes that monkey-boy because he’s pretty lookin or somethin’” he scoffed.
He actually did have a small argument with her not too long ago, but it was over trivial things, at least trivial to him - but he thought it not worth bringing up to this girl who was still somewhat a stranger to him.

Monkey..Girl? (Closed RP)

Ban leaned against the outside wall of the Honky Tonk as he smoked a cigarette. His hair seemed to cover much of his face so that from a distance you could only see from his nose to his chin of his face His body posture seemed to show that he was agitated as he muttered to himself. “Tsk. Ginji running off with that monkey man again. Leaving me to handle evetything myself..not that I can’t”
Aika was walking over to the Honkey Tonk as she usually did whenever she was bored at Madoka’s manor. She checked how much she had on her and it could at least buy her some hot chocolate and perhaps something to eat. When she saw the coffee shop sign she noticed the evil eye user fuming outside. She smiled widely and skipped her way over to him.
“It seems someone’s a bit grumpy early afternoon.” She grinned at him, “Also those are bad for you, Ban-kun.”
Ban looked up at the voice speaking to him, his glasses pushed upright to his eyes as he gazed at the woman. He gave a small smirk and put out his cigarette under his shoe after plucking it from his lips. He leaned back again on the wall as he spoke.
“Grumpy, huh? Is that how I look?” he said as he pushed himself away form the wall to face her properly. “and who are you to tell me about what’s bad for me, you think I don’t already know that?” he smirked once again.

/I was a bit confused so I didn’t reply XD/
“Nah, I’m sure you already knew. I just worry that the ‘great Ban Midou’ is going to die very young.” She said sarcastically as she shrugged. She looked inside the coffee shop and only saw Paul behind the counter, the blonde that used to be the scariest leader of underground Shinjuku was nowhere in sight.
“You hungry?” She asked him, “I have some spare change, I can treat you.” She knew well that her brother would scold her if he had heard her but she didn’t mind. “We can go anywhere you’d like as long as it’s cheap.”
Ban peered over at the girl, who was familiar to him but he wasn’t entirely sure who she was, all he knew is that she was associated with Shido. He watched her look around for his companion, and gave a small ‘hmph’ when she, too, saw nothing as if confirming his own thoughts again.
Then he heard a bit about food, and he raised an eyebrow at her as she offered to treat him. It had been some time since he last ate, and even though he could really use some nutrition, he wouldn’t let it hurt his pride. He tried to hide his feelings of hunger from appearing on his face as he looked away, letting his hair hide his face once again as he pushed up his glasses. “Nah, I’m good. I’m not a charity case, ya know.” he muttered.
“You’re so stubborn.” She pouted at him, “I bet if you were treated by a girl with a pair of big knockers you’d be down on your knees praising her.”
She knew very well how her brother and him didn’t get along, so perhaps that’s why there’s also a wall between them. She sighed, “Well then, it’s your loss. Don’t come crying to me in two or three days when you’re starving to death.” She walked over to him, still keeping her distance, and leaned against the wall as well looking up at a street light where a crow resided, “How’s your day going Mr. Grumpy?” She might as well strike up a conversation with him.
At her first comment about women, he shook his hands and head and seemed to blush lightly “N-no! I just - I don’t need handouts!” he stated. Then he took sighed heavily as she turned toward him and he again made eye contact from behind his glasses with her.
Hearing the comment about him starving put him on edge at first, but he knew that she was right and that he would end up starving soon if he did not find a good job to pay for meals. Maybe he had to give up on his pride, this one time. However, at being called ‘Mr. Grumpy’ he immediately retracted his thoughts about letting his pride down.
“Don’t call me that, I have my name, you know.” he muttered before letting out a sigh “Ginji has been off running around leaving me to handle things myself once again - yet we have not had a decent paying job in ages..” he admitted as he took in a deep breath, before letting out a small smile and chuckle “So, I might take you up on your date offer.”
Her cheeks flushed red when the word date escaped his lips. “It is not a date!” She glared at him, “I’m just being a good samaritan!” She looked away from his piercing blue eyes. She would never admit it but she actually liked the retriever no matter how distasteful her brother saw the jagan user.
She backed away from him, her hands intertwined behind her back, and walked over to his lady bug. She knew how much he loved this car, it was sad that he always got her towed. She patted the hood and grinned at him. “Lead the way ‘Ban-sama’. Remember it has to be cheap. I’m almost as poor as you.”
He chuckled at her reaction to himself and he smirked with a small nod. He watched her touch his car, of which he slightly winced at but only as an instinctual reaction. Once she stated her requirements for food he couldn’t help but give off a small grin. “Well if it’s cheap you want, we’re already at the right place!” he said, rather loudly so he could feel Paul’s stare through the windows.
“Thank you very much, now Paul will charge me double.” she sighed and walked over to him giving him a light punch on his shoulder, “If he does though, I’m putting everything on your lovely tab, deal?” She grinned at him, it was amazing how Ban and Ginji always seemed to have the worst of lucks when it came to money, not that she should talk though, she was only lucky she had a roof above her head thanks to Madoka.
Ban couldn’t help but chuckle at her words as she lightly touched his shoulder. He shrugged and walked around her to open the door inside, not even returning any banter about his tab. He walked into the Honky Tonk and sat at a table, without even saying two words to Paul as he walked his way to his seat. He awaited for the woman, before he decided to say anything further to anger or agitate the owner of the establishment he now sat in.
She followed the retriever inside and sat down on a seat beside him I looked up at the menu stand Paul had even if I already knew what I wanted, it was just an automatic thing I die. “Give me some hot chocolate, master.” She had tried plenty of hot chocolates but she still hasn’t found any other better than Paul’s. Paul gave her a nod before he started making it. She then looked at the retriever, “Order up, recovery boy.”
Ban did not take too much liking to being called ‘recovery boy’ as he almost sneered at the woman before looking up at Paul, who was already giving him a disgruntled look. “Don’t worry, this lady’s got me covered today!” he grinned playfully as Paul sighed and seemed to know what Ban wanted, as he went to get their orders ready.
Ban then looked at the woman that accompanied him and his playful look had immediately disappeared. “So. Who are you exactly?” he asked sternly.
Aika looked at him a bit surprised but then it hit her. “Oh that’s right! I’ve never formally introduced myself to you have I?” It might’ve slipped her mind since she already knew of Ginji’s partner. Everyone in the Volt’s knew the name of ‘Ban Midou’ since he was the one person who had ever beaten the Lightning Lord and ‘took him away’ later. Her brother has also talked to her about him in an annoyed voice.
“My name’s Aika Fuyuki, younger sister of the one you call monkey boy.” She smiled at him, “Nice to meet you, Ban-kun.”
Ban’s eyes widened at learning whom she was and he leaned far back in his seat and seemed surprised. “You’re monkey boy’s sister?!” he nearly shouted, as Paul had seemingly snuck his way over to deliver their orders. A small, personal sized, pizza for Ban and Aika’s drink. Paul gently placed them down before heading back towards his station.
Ban stayed, non-moving, but did glance down at his food. Did he even want it anymore? What if this was some clever ploy? He knew Shido never really liked him, and neither did he fully trust Shido. Ban simply eyed his food for a while, trying to collect his thoughts.
“Thanks.” She gave Paul a smile as he gave her the hot chocolate ignoring the outburst of the retriever. She took a small sip of her drink and looked over at the man that was just eyeing his food. “You know you’re supposed to eat your food correct?”
She sighed, she should’ve just given him her first name alone. Not that he blamed him as much, this always happened whenever she told anyone about her blood relation with the ‘fearsome’ beast master. “It’s not poisoned nor am I working with my brother to stab you when you least expect it.” She laid her head down on the table annoyed, not really wanting to face him, “Though I love my brother with all my heart I hate being treated like I’m the same as him.”
He eased his shoulder’s letting them relax as she slinked forward in his seat. He watched her movements and expressions and soon felt bad for how he behaved, but nevertheless, he should not let his guard down. He picked up a piece of his food and stuck it in his mouth as he began to eat. He felt like words would not suffice or ease her, so he just gently ate his food while watching her demeanor.
He ate his food rather quickly, and then sat back in his spot, more relaxed than before but still on alert. “Doesn’t help your brother put quite an image for himself.” He said, crossing his arms across his chest and looking at her with more gentle eyes. “His reputation will stick to you, whether you like that or not, sadly.”
