Our dog had gotten out on New Year’s Eve while we were celebrating and was hit head-on by a car. The owner of the car isn’t taking any responsibility for his actions and isn’t willing to help with the funds from Bruiser’s hospital bill. Bruiser is only 1 and his skull was fractured, he had to receive stitches on his back leg, his whole body is bruised and he has large cuts on his face and legs. Because of the impact of the crash to his body, his heart is having ventricular contractions and he is not able to smell due to his fractured nasal cavity. He cannot stand up at all, go to the restroom (he has a catheter), or eat or drink on his own; it is administered through an IV. We need to raise 18,000 dollars to pay in order for him to make a full recovery. So far we’ve raised $5,525 and every penny counts.
