So, when i was reading 'and if i start to grieve (forgive me)' by klixxy (which is a good fic btw, I might plan to make a fic inspired by this)
And it made me think like "Huh, i wonder what other disciples like Baek Cheon or Yoon Jung's dominant/amplified emotions would be"
For shits and giggles, it would be frustration lmao (due to our loving troublemaker who keeps causing them stress)
But if I were to make a serious answer, it would probably be that of all of them are determination in different kinds.
Though feel free to disagree, that is just an opinion of mine lmao, plus I'm not really well versed on the disciples personalities but i still would like to explore it.
(I'll explore their attitude as well since it's hard to determine their main emotion, not because it's hard to detect but because the disciples share similar feelings like admiration, stubborness or apprehension, etc. Probably because they bonded together lmao and plus, they can't stay in one emotion forever, it constantly changes, and you know that being involved with chung myung brings all the aspects of your emotion to a drainage lmao)
For one, Chung Myung is obviously grief, (like really, the man feels guilt about his actions towards how he acted to his former sahyungs to the point that he's hallucinating them) He tends to mask these emotions by his over-bearing personality, in this case, it's not the most healthiest way to cope over a dead person
Wrath can too be maybe one of his dominant emotions. It's just that his grief and guilt outweighs his anger at times. And despite having the title of 'the mad dog of Mount Hua', I honestly think that he's not mad enough considering what others had did to him in the past
He's not that tame ofc, he's really violent, but if Tang Bo were to reincarnate instead of him, Tang Bo would be so much more vile LMAO
Chung Myung may be skilled at his tongue, twist the enemies words and anger them when he questions their logic and THEN speak with his fist, but Tang Bo would completely, and psychologically destroy the enemy just by talking their morales and what they stand for
Anyways, anger tangent aside, I think Grief or Guilt would fit Chung Myung. His traits would that be that he is ambitious and the no bullshit attitude
Now onto Dong Ryong, our prideful Baek Cheon.
When he was first introduce, I would say his main dominant emotion was pride(due to arrogance yes, and also a hero's complex)
But right now, I would say that it's still pride, although he is now more humble than before, but he still gets cocky at times lmao
And If we were to separate him from Chung Myung (which reduces half of his anger), he is rather noble, always leading the group whether with dignity or the one that brings trouble (whenever a party is attempting to fight them with a mocking tone, baek cheon kinda just beat the shit out of them lmao, but he's not impulsive, but when it comes to picking a fight, he just chooses to be petty with it lmao)
Next is Yoon Jung, whom I would say is like the second Baek Cheon but more laidback, lenient, and chill,( Temperment similar to Chung Myung's Sahyung Jangmun ) and his pride is more of that his identity is from hwasan rather than himself.
He has some self-worth issues, being the "least powerful man" out of the 5 mount hua swords(plus the monk) but he's certainly trying his best to keep up with them. Obviously, he has some "Chung Myung!" Moments, ( ie. holding Baek Cheon or Chung Myung back ), but again, he's chill if Chung Myung wasn't involved
Now onto his main emotion and traits, Im thinking this in the perspective that if Chung Myung isn't here with him and ngl, I was supposed to say serenity but he's far from it when he looks like he acts like he belongs there lmao. He chooses to panic when a situation doesn't go as planned (which happens all the time) but if i assume where in the situation is going very well or something, he's quite peaceful overall just polite with everyone. He's also diligent yes
A joy to be around and our local punching bag, good thing hye hyeon exist or else bro would always be the one getting beaten.
He's a really genuine dude, and is more casual than Yoon Jung and Baek Cheon (obv), not much too say since he's a simpleton but he does get his shit together when he locks in
His main emotion would probably be anticipation? Eagerness?? idk, its hard to know, for me atleast. He's easy to emote and easily gives a reaction to everything, saying things unfiltered lmao, as i said, he's a genuine guy but it comes at a cost of getting bullied by everyone LMAO
I do know that he has a carefree attitude and that he's a dumbasses. and I would say that he's a lil too prideful at times, and gets cocky as well.
You think she's mysterious and cool, but she's just as rabid and weird as the people she surrounds herself with, it's just that she's good at hiding it.
Now onto her dominant emotion or traits, I would say fixation, like, she is fixated and so passionate on learning the sword techniques, she's the definition of preservarence to me, obv second to chung myung but still She is willing to do everything to learn it, tho she can be ditzy at times
