i promise i didn't forget about you! just, as you said, the amount of work in december is.... not my friend, that's for sure (but I think l'd have a little more free time going forwards)! and i'm not a native english-speaker as well, so don't worry! (also i always try to remind myself that the mere fact of knowing an extra language to the point that you can communicate with others is already a great achievement!)

🍿️Speaking of holidays movies, my first thought is Love Actually (which if I remember correctly, is one of Harry’s favorite) while The Polar Express🚂 is a special✨ one for me.
The first time I watched it was with my classmates in junior high school back to when our English teacher used to show us all kinds of movies in her class. We watched it couple days before Christmas 🎄. The plot is not complicated, well of course thirteen-year-old me didn't think much of it until time flies now I’m a grownup adult and suddenly start to think about this movie. It’s me myself who becomes a typical adult whose roles are often seen in typical kind of movies, losing their inner children and banned from entering the neverland. (Am I getting the atmosphere bitter here?? Sorry I just can’t help being dramatic&sentimental haha🥲)
Anyway I still like to rewatch The Polar Express and pretend I was the boy in the movie and find my bravery and spirit of Christmas(whatever it is).Btw what’s your favorite (holiday) movie(s)?😌
🏮About seasonal traditions, I live in Asia so we don’t really have many Christmas related traditions. However we do celebrate Christmas here, just not in a formal way I think??
Dunno if it counts but in my country the 15th day of the first lunar month is the traditional Lantern Festival. The first full moon 🌕 appears on this day. Just like the name, the best part of the festival is the lanterns. Streets will be decorated with colorful lanterns and streamers. Jack-o-lantern🎃 uses pumpkins while traditionally we make lanterns out of paper. Nowadays people are fans of plastic lanterns and I have a 🐇 lantern which was bought when I was abt 6 or 7.
