I’ve got an update ready for the comic but I’ve been struggling with technical issues. But don’t worry; I’ll work on more updates until then. And when I do resolve the problems, depending on how much time has passed, we’ll have a fairly regular update schedule!

Quick update as well - I’ve got a heavy load of classes this semester, so the updating is going to be pretty sporadic. However, I am going to update more often than last semester, because I’m setting aside time every day to work on some sort of art. Thanks for tagging along!

Planeswept Part Two: Internal Conflict

At last, at very long last, I’ve uploaded the first update for the second part of that comic that I write!

So, I haven’t been 100% unproductive with this during that long and lame hiatus. I have some art projects that I’m planning on uploading to this site, once I get some bugs wrinkled out (yes, that’s right - art projects that I made via programming), and there are also some things on the site that I’m planning on posting pretty soon, such as enhanced navigation and some other smaller details. And by enhanced navigation, I mean an easier way to get the site into Spanish.

The two art projects are called belonging.exe and Study Helper. Study Helper is already online, but be aware that there are several bugs and issues with it that, if I can get to it, will be resolved over time. belonging.exe isn’t available yet, but will soon be. Since both are open source, I’ll also eventually provide the source code.

Additionally, I post more updates on the Bandera Mindworks Facebook page, so if you want more frequent updates about what I’m doing with this, you might want to go like the page.

And that’s it for now. Since next Friday’s Christmas, I can’t promise an update this size, but check back just in case.

Por fin, I am working on part two of Planeswept. Since the current semester is halfway over though, and things aren’t showing any signs of slowing down, it may still be a while before I manage to get enough panels done for a full update. Until then, enjoy this little teaser for Internal Conflict.

Good News!

I've just written the first three updates to Part Two! (As everyone whispers, "Well, it's about time!") I'm still not sure when I'll begin publishing it, but rest assured, it'll be soon.

In fact, you may want to reread it to remember all that you’ve forgotten over these past few months...

I’m still here!

I’m sorry that I haven’t been too vocal, lately - things have been going pretty rough in terms of finding motivation for Planeswept... as well as trying to figure out how to start Part Two. But I’ve finally got something forming in my head, and if I can get my college work done and my job done in a timely matter, then hopefully before the end of the month I’ll start posting new updates.

And with what I’ve got planned, I’m pretty excited about it.

Also, if you haven’t found out yet, I’ve added the ability to save your spot in the comic, as well as the ability to choose to go to the newest update, the first, or where you left off. I still don’t have an autosave feature, but if anyone wants it, I’m more than willing to get that working out.

PS Update 31 + News

Now we finally get to learn what Cognition did to Novent! ...Kinda.

In case the span between updates didn’t clue you in, my life has gotten dreadfully busy recently. That happens when you take 14 credit hours and juggle a 20 hour job and try to maintain a social life and a comic (those last two things are the things that haven’t been happening). Additionally, I’ve gone through what I’ve got drafted for Planeswept so far (aside from the general outline), so here’s what I’m saying:

There’s going to be a slight hiatus for me to 1) get a grip on my schedule and try to figure out everything in my life and to 2) plan out Part Two of Planeswept, which is entitled “Internal Conflict.” However, that doesn’t mean I won’t be completely inactive - I recorded most of my drawing process, so I hope to compile those and make a sort of speed painting of that. I also want to make a couple of backgrounds for Planeswept and do some website updates (like finally implementing Spanish translation 100%). I may also even post drafts of another comic I’m writing called... well, I have the subtitle, but I’m still undecided on the main title. So if that works out, then I’ll tell you.

When can we expect to see Octavia and the rest of the Planeswept crew? I predict in about a month is when I’ll have everything ready - character profiles, plot points, plans, twists, and so forth.

TL;DR: Planeswept will resume in about a month, but I’ll still be posting cool things before then.
