MCR Killjoys Roleplay

I went to see My Chemical Romance in concert about a week ago and had a re-awakening of muse to write in their beautifully-disastrous post-apocalyptic world of the Killjoys (from their Danger Days album and Gerard's True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys comics). But I also know that this is probably a weird niche that not a lot of people are likely to be into 😅 I'm hoping to find some like-minded My Chem fans (or Killjoy fans) who might be interested in a RP. I'm actually considering reviving a RP site (so I'm thinking something forum-based) that I had a looong time ago with a small community, if that's something anyone would be interested in.

Mostly I'm looking for interest in this type of site/setting before I actually commit to re-creating my site from the ground up. Do people even like forum RPs anymore? 😅 Also this would, of course, be a group RP (since it would be forum-based), but everyone on-site would be required to be 18+.

A really brief premise, for those of you who might be reading and may not know anything about the lore (but might be interested, anyway 👀): In a dystopian 2019 California, the totalitarian Better Living Industries (BL/ind or BLI) rules over Battery City where it systematically strips citizens of their emotions and individuality. The Killjoys are desert outlaws who fight BL/ind and its leader. Their mission is to free humanity from the corporation's control, guided by the pirate radio DJ. The whole story's setting is a critique of corporate culture, as well as a defense of art and individuality.

What I'm thinking for the site, if we go that route: - group RP (of course, since it is forum-based, though with the option of doing 1:1 RP threads, too) - 18+ age requirement (I'm 28 and do not feel comfortable writing with anyone under the age of 18) - allowance of violence/sexual themes, but also with the option to "fade to black" (discuss with whoever you're RPing with to find your comfort zones, but the option is there) - no canon characters, only OCs (OR the option for people to "claim" canon characters and keep them as long as they keep up on their activity? Many fandom forum sites don't allow canons, but this can be something we can discuss if there's any interest in this at all)

Howdy! I’m 17, and I’m looking for some roleplays! I’m open to roleplaying as long as you are 16+. I have a few plots, here. I do mxm, mxnb. I prefer cc x oc, with me being oc, and we can double up if you want!!

Our muses are in separate (rival) bands, and are forced to go on tour together. (enemies to lovers)

Two time travelers are currently on the run from a corporation trying to kill them. They must travel through time to save their family. However, they have two kids and must keep things as sane as possible for them. 

  Muse A (you) and Muse B (me) get transported into a weird town (think Welcome To Nightvale meets The Backrooms) and must figure out how they got here and how to get out.
