Luke Castellan x Art Pieces
Reminder that this is how Rick Riordan wrote how the other characters wishes Nico Happy Birthday on his blog
nico hangs out on the weird parts of the internet confirmed
ariadne and dionysus wip
king
i could fix him or make him worse idk
I specifically find it very annoying that Athena’s only character trait in pjo is to perpetuate the narrative of rivalry/rivals-to-lovers between Percy and Annabeth. Athena is reduced to a stern mother-figure, whose primary cause is to intimidate Percy against any romantic involvement with her daughter.
he’s her fun lil social experiment

Nico but with really long hair
Do you think Luke harbored a special grudge for the di Angelos due to Hades cursing the oracle over the fate of Maria? Luke may very well have recognized the names of Nico and Bianca as soon as he heard them, from his nightmares or from Kronos’ visions, and realized who they were long before anyone else did. That might mean Bianca’s death was less of a suicide mission and may in fact have been carefully planned and executed by Luke in some sort of desperate attempt to avenge May’s fate.
I’m not sure luke holds grudges against demigods for their parents behaviour, he befriended thalia whose father is the king of the gods luke hated so much, if anything it was a shame they didn’t show him more interested in recruiting nico
Buuuuut kronos showing him hades cursing the oracle would be like poking a wound already existing. Hades had already “killed” thalia, so luke already hated him. If kronos also showed him zeus trying to kill the di angelos two minutes before hades cursed the oracle, luke might’ve felt some empathy for the children and even more hate towards zeus *and* hades
i hope i’m not just a mutual to you but also your önline dăddÿ.

potentially controversial opinion but i personally see percy as the introvert and annabeth as the extrovert. not the other way around, which seems to be the popular view.
the titan’s curse is interesting bc like. rick riordan (very clumsily) attempted to explore feminist themes, the role played by male heroes in myths and how they treated women with zoe and ariadne's stories. and the hunters were supposed to represent a safe haven/found family for young women in response to the patriarchy.... but he ended up writing them as a caricature of ‘men haters’ who prey on young girls and treat even young boys as people who should be avoided like the plague.... and it's presented as rick's idea of what feminism is like. it’s such a shame that the issues going on with the hunters weren’t even really addressed in the narrative besides thalia shit-talking them – because you know what? they COULD have still been messy and problematic, but if written with more nuance and care and if zoe changed the recruitment method after getting to know thalia and percy, it would’ve worked. do you get me. do you envision what i'm talking about
watched blood of zeus guess who my favorite character is
