i took a mental health day off work (so, so, so necessary) and so here’s the list of accomplishments for the day. 

hang up shirts

sew that thing

put socks away

maybe throw some socks away?

edit and post chapter six

vacuum the hall

write chapter 13

check the mail

read the new chapter to that thing that dropped last night

figure out what to do for dinner

put that god damn storage bin back where it goes!

make a graphic for that story and give it it’s own post, it’s not doing well as is

how is the generation that can’t say “died” and the one that wants to ban everything they deem bad and immoral off sites like ao3 also the same that won’t use a trigger warning. like maybe i’m in the wrong here but cancer, death of a father, the trappings of said cancer should come with a bit of a heads up so i can decide if i wanna relive that or not right now. i mean, i backed out so i’m okay (and i didn’t leave nasty comments or anything) but this has happened to me three times this week and it’s kind of a lot of times

you know what i think would be neat? to have a conversation where every word wasn’t taken to mean one thing and one thing one. sometimes words mean two things. sometimes they mean many things and you have to use the tone of the conversation and the context of the sentence (especially the numerous attached emojis to help with tone and the tone indicators) to know which one. 

because really, truthfully. it requires i be IN one’s brain to be understood. how can i possibly know which definition will be applied when i type “(this is just a joke. it’s all for laughs) joke joke joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 /j” and then it’s taken as a very serious thing. like help me out please?!?!? i can’t keep doing this.

i wish the roleplay community would quit using starters as an excuse to god mod. we didn’t plot this. we didn’t plan this. you said you’d write me something and when i said do you wanna talk about it first you said no. then proceeded to tell me not only where my character would be, how long it took them to get there, and made them late on top of it. that’s too much. my character is not yours to control. i signed off on my character agreeing to hang out when we agreed to do something but the rest of it is you writing my character and yours. stop doing it. stop saying my character’s house is a mess. stop saying my character would be at a place they very much wouldn’t. talk to other people for like five minutes and clear this up.
