Never in her time as Ranger General would a young Elf have spoken to her with such snark! It seemed that as memory of her former existence amongst their number faded away from their...distracted minds, so did any reverence they had once held for her deeds -- and her sacrifice.  Pity.

AU Verses

(mostly) mass cross-over verse with Walden.  Summoned erroneously by an over-eager young Mage who attempted long-range portalling without having read the textbook material, the terrified and suspicious Sylvanas is now having to adjust to a world that most definitely is not Azeroth. 

---- into the darkness { dc }  A young vigilante who was murdered while protecting Gotham’s streets, the woman now known as the villain, Banshee Queen, was raised again forcibly via the Lazarus Pit. Left with amnesia and bloodlust and under a villain’s control, only recently has she started to regain a sense of her own identity. 

---- bitter infinity { marvel } An Agent of SHIELD who was killed in action, the so called ‘Banshee Queen’ was raised again through...less than pleasant methods by a less than pleasant person. ---- by the light of the sun,,  The living Sylvanas Windrunner is the loved and respected Ranger-General of Quel’thalas, protecting her people, the High Elves, from any threat that might make the beautiful Eversong Woods less peaceful.

---- we are forsaken,,  Slaughtered by Arthas Menethil in front of the Elfgate of Silvermoon, and forcibly raised to be his first Banshee and eternal minion, Sylvanas has managed to break away from his terrible grip and is trying to regain a sense of life following getting her long-awaited revenge. Now the Banshee Queen of the Forsaken, Sylvanas is feared and hated by most save her almost-fanatical followers. With her sense of morality seemingly crumbling at the rate of her remaining sanity, Sylvanas’ love for her people is outmatched only by her crippling fear of a final death. 

---- for the horde!  Named Warchief following the disaster at the Broken Shore, Sylvanas has come out of the darkness at last into the light. With the stakes higher than ever at the advance of the Burning Legion, how far will Sylvanas go to save her people...and her own soul?
