BARBELL - A barbell lies on the floor. The colour has worn off its weight plates. PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT - It's 60 kg. Your triceps hum at the sight of these weights. Show the world what kind of beast it's dealing with. Lift them. VISUAL CALCULUS - There are no collars on the barbell. This is a safety hazard. INLAND EMPIRE - Why does it feel so familiar? YOU - Is this familiar because I'm a weightlifter? INLAND EMPIRE - No, it's not that... It's the stale smell of rubber, the squeaky sound of sneakers, your bruised knee against the mat. And a whistle... then the feeling is gone. LOGIC - It's just a memory. ENDURANCE - A memory from another life -- when you were young and fit.

So so glad I got to work on this project. So this is my piece for the montage (click to see in better resolution).

To anyone that came here for Disco Elysium content, this is my art side-blog where I post very rarely. If you want to read and/or see me ramble about the game, I reblog a lot of DE posts on my main @baolinagasy

I don’t know if it’s because I’m still not used to drawing digitally or if it’s the lack of reference, or both, but I’m still really unsatisfied with the way I drew Harry and especially Kim in the few doodles that I shared.

They’re too handsome.

Kim has too much chin and it’s too square. Harry doesn’t looked fucked up enough. Both need to get their hairlines receding more.

I think it’s because when I draw on a screen I zoom too much (I always see the pixels when I draw) and so I don’t get a good general look. When I draw them on paper I don’t have the same issue, they look more like the ugly middle-aged guys that we all love.

Anyway, I guess I’m just apologizing or smth for those earlier drawings. I’ll try to scan or redraw the most recent ones I have.
