This man will do anything to get even a fraction of the 7′s fortune. Even if it means destroying them in the process. However, Jae makes the politician a deal that he simply can’t turn down.

You should probably always question the drugs that you take from a rival gang’s doctor, but your head hurt so damn bad you didn’t think twice. After handing you a couple of what looked to be typical over-the-counter ibuprofen (that apparently he figured you were gonna need because he pulled them right from his pocket), he led you out of the large doors and into the hallway that looked just as dilapidated as the room you just left.
“All the money that the Seven rakes in, and you are hiding out in this place? It’s practically falling apart.” you said, trailing just a few paces behind the young doctor. He didn’t turn back and look at you, but you could hear the smile on his lips when he replied.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
You didn’t have any idea what the hell that was supposed to mean, but your questions were soon answered when you had arrived at what you had assumed to have been an old ballroom. There was large fireplace adorning the farthest wall and you noted that this part of the mansion was far more used than the part you had been in, as the floors were littered with far more footprints, along with a few unmistakable blood stains. Youngjae noticed you staring at the stains and gave you a sad smile.
“You didn’t think you were the only one that has been hurt here do you?” You thought that coming from anyone else that statement would have been intimidating, but you could feel the guilt emanating from him. You suddenly made the realization that this probably was not the life he wanted. Why else would you become a doctor in one of the most violent gangs in the city? “Anyway,” he said clearing his throat, “Its just through here.”
“What is?” you asked, but he didn’t answer. You watched as he walked over to the large fireplace, and reached inside the inner edge to pull what you assumed to be a small lever. Suddenly a holographic keypad buzzed to life to his right, which looked quite strange in such an old-looking place. Youngjae quickly tapped in some kind of pass code, and then the key pad disappeared as quickly as it had gotten there. With a series of clicks, the fireplace lowered into the floor, revealing a brand-new, beautifully carved doorway that looked even more out of place than the keypad. The doctor opened it and motioned for you to come inside.
Now this is the kind of place I expected, you thought to yourself as you walked through the threshold of what you assumed to be their actual lair.
The wallpaper was scarlet red and trimmed with gold, and a large crystal chandelier hung above your head, which provided a dim, sultry light to the well-decorated room. The space was decorated with ornate carpets, fine art, and various pieces of furniture that were upholstered with crushed velvet in a shade of red that matched the walls.
In the back of the room sat a bar, with copious amounts of hard liquor, and it was surrounded by five men who you assumed all the other members of the gang.
They were certainly a lot... louder than you imagined, but when Youngjae cleared his throat to catch their attention, and they noticed you standing there, the room fell silent. Five pairs of eyes bore into you like they were trying to read your mind, which you assumed is a pretty typical mafia thing. That is probably the only way to stay alive. The doctor cleared his throat again in an attempt to clear away the awkward.
“So, Y/n” Youngjae began, you had no idea how he knew your name, but that didn’t really matter to you right now. “these are the guys.” He started by introducing the boy to the far left.
“This is BamBam,” he said, motioning to a rather thin but intimidating looking boy who was leaning against the bar top. “He is our weapons specialist, and second-in-command.”
“Your weapons specialist is named BamBam?” you said a little louder than you had intended, and the same boy who looked intimidating 5 seconds ago turned into a gigantic laughing goofball.
“Fitting isn’t it?” he said. You now noticed that BamBam definitely had a mischievous, childlike feel to him, which you liked.
The boy next to him introduced himself with a polite, charismatic smile. “Hey I’m Jackson. I make the negotiations.” Jackson had a very athletic build, and his hair was slicked back out of his face. You noticed that the top few buttons of his shirt were purposely undone. This guy definitely sold his sex appeal.
Jackson introduced the next member of the group as their techie, Mark, who was working on some sort of equipment on the bar. He had kind eyes like Youngjae, and seemed to be a lot quieter than the other members. However, he definitely fit in with the aura of the group. He gave you a kind smile and a quick “Hey” before getting back to his work.
Youngjae motioned the the next member, “This is Jinyoung, he’s our hitman.” You were not even a little bit surprised, he definitely came off as the coldest of the group. He didn’t seem unkind per say, just a little more serious and calm than the others. Everything about his appearance was neat and tidy, and he extended his hand for a polite introduction.
“Nice to meet you,” he said, and you returned the greeting.
Finally, Youngjae introduced the last and youngest boy of the group. “This is Yugyeom. He’s the baby.” Yugyeom rolled his eyes at the baby comment, and the other boys laughed.
“I’m the intelligence and martial arts specialist.” he corrected.
“In training,” Jinyoung added.
“iN tRaiNinG” Yugyeom said mocking his voice, which caused Jinyoung to jump up from his seat and chase the youngest around the room while spewing various death threats.
“Welcome to the family!” Youngjae said half sarcastically.
You laughed. “Are you guys always this welcoming to your prisoners or am I just special?”
“Special? I guess you could say that,” said a familiar voice behind you. A voice that particularly pissed you off.
The other boys fell silent a second time at the appearance of their leader.
“We have a lot to talk about Y/n.” Jaebum drawled.
