yo. it’s cold out and batteries die on the reg. here’s a helpful reminder.

Remember to run your car for at least an hour after jumping it! If you turn it off the battery will die again!

Cute Story: So one shitty winter day, I left my lights on for 8 hours while I was in classes. My car was 100% dead when I got there, so I called CAA and they charged my car with this battery thing since I couldn’t jump it (I tried with 2 people before I called CAA).

The next day I’m in a grocery store parking lot and an old man is looking very frustrated. He couldn’t seem to get his car to turn on and I could see him lifting the hood and trying to figure out why. I pulled my car over to him and asked him if his battery died, and he said yes but had no idea how to jump start his car. LUCKILY, I had a really shitty day the day before and LEARNED how to do this.

It was basically fate. I jumped his car, he thanked me for literally 10 minutes and told me I was the most generous young person he’s ever met. 

MORAL OF THE STORY: Learn how to do this cause you could totally help someone out. And ALWAYS have jumper cables in your car. ALWAAAYYSS.
