I just watched someone I know jokingly steal a friends longboard. They passed me and yelled.
Them: Hey I stole Rileys longboard!
Me: Cool...
Them: *crash*
My friend next to me: dick
How do you drown a hipster? ... You throw them in the main stream!

It’s rare to find a chief executive of a multinational company with such a warm, and friendly nature. I’m such a fan of yours since you’ve been developing games in the Kirby, Pokemon, series & etc. Thank You So Much Mr. Sotaru Iwata (December 6, 1959 - July 11, 2015) . R.I.P 😢
And so, we say goodbye
In 1983, a man became a huge part of a major corporation as the coordinator of software production, software that would continue to be developed today, constantly changing, constantly being innovative and fun in ways competitors would never be able, or to fully understand. In 1993, when most of BSG members weren’t even born yet (in fact, I was the only alive at this point, that man was promoted to president of HAL laboratory, the same HAL that produced games like: Balloon Fight, Earthbound and the Kirby series. In 2000, He took position as the head of Nintendo’s planning division. Shortly after, in 2002, this man became the fourth president of Nintendo. In 2013, he was also merited with the role of Nintendo of America’s CEO.
Today, we are horribly saddened to bring you the news, that this man has passed away from a bile duct growth. This man has been around in our lives, for most of it’s duration, constantly contributing to the fun and joy we have experienced when it came to video games. A man that we would have fun imitating and copying his gestures with catch phrases from Nintendo Direct videos such as “Please, have a look,” and “Please understand.” For those who don’t know, let’s look into the last two years for this man.
In 2014, he missed Nintendo’s E3 due to illness and medical related issues, it was later revealed he would be undergoing surgery for a tumor in his bile duct. On July 11th, he began experiencing pain and was rushed into the emergency room, where he later passed on. It was announced today that he had passed away by Nintendo. We, as many fans across the world are deeply saddened to announce the loss of someone who was in all of our lives, all of our houses, all of our memories. A man who led the way to innovations and strides for the very best in every scenario. A man who helped us realize that Nintendo is more like a young adult trying to find it’s way through the tribulations of life than it is a company. A young person who find success, then falters, then gets desperate and has to figure shit out, but has fun while on that adventure to figure things out. Showing such dedication to providing those around with the greatest happiness-es and the greatest memories. A young adult with the purest heart and the best of intentions. To me, that’s what Nintendo signifies, and I feel it could never be that way without this man. Today, the gaming community is shaken up, the landscape has been forever changes.
Today we say goodbye to our mentor, our hero, our idol, our friend. We say goodbye to Mr. Satoru Iwata. We here at BSG will greatly miss you and hope you rest in peace, free of any and all pain.
Im dead inside
So I got bored and decided to redo the bottom of my longboard and im pleased with the results!
Is it true Brian Williams will be guest staring on the next season of Pretty little lairs?

Even on finishing this picture in memory of Monty, I still find myself and many others wishing that it was a bad dream. But unfortunately for all of us, this isn’t a dream we can wake up from. The reality is that Monty Oum has passed away, but, I don’t think he’d want all of us to be sad. He spent so much of his time making people smile. Just. Keep. Smiling.
Monty, even though I never got to meet him, was one of my biggest inspirations and is part of why I still draw today. He was one of the first people I’d watched on DeviantART on my first account. It wouldn’t matter what he posted, it was always interesting.
I’d feel discouraged often about no one looking at the things I would draw, even as I got older. When RWBY came out, a lot of inspiration came rushing back, and I started drawing more frequently but was hesitant in posting, but did so regardless. I posted here, to dA, and Twitter. The last thing I had expected with one of the pieces I posted, however, was that Monty Oum of all people would see it and re-tweet it along with favoriting. I was in a skype call at that time and had FREAKED OUT, even started crying because I was so happy.
There are many of us with these kinds of stories revolving around Monty Oum, and while it’s true that he’s be taken too soon, his memory lives on with all the people hes touched.
I’d like to bring some attention to the community project found here. The people in this post want to make a memorial video for Monty, which is a wonderful idea. If you want to help, please follow that link.
"Guys… Life… it’s pretty awesome. Just keep at it. And I’ll keep going too." — Monty Oum
Absolutely beautiful. RIP Monty <3 We miss you.
Who was Monty? Monty was the personification of motivation, determination and resolve. He was the man who never slowed down, who always wanted his life to be efficient, quick and as productive as possible. To those of you that never knew Monty, it might be hard to imagine to what...
Thank you. Goodbye.
This is so beautiful and heart breaking. We will love you forever Monty, you've earned a rightful place in all our hearts. R.I.P
