Nintendo doesn’t get a free pass for releasing a remake that takes out core gameplay features in favor of pushing mechanics from the Pokémon Go app that rely on RNG instead of any sort of skill. All these companies seem a bit out of touch with their player bases and way more in touch with their board of directors.

Man nah that's not it at all both Blizzard and Nintendo are trying to get new games into their player bases. Let'sGo is intended to bring Pokémon Go players into the fold of the core games it's for people who have never played a core game. Diablo mobile is the same damn thing it's to get new players in who didn't play them before. As far as Sony that's up to them. It takes a lot of money and man power to do those and with no new titles or tech on the way they probably opted to skip it to focus on finishing what they have on their plate. Admittedly I don't keep enough track of Microsoft to have a say on that and as far as Bethesda we know what they did. I'm just saying let game companies make games for new players and finish making the games they're already working on.
