the curse of peladon thoughts
- i adored this story! so many good inclusions and as soon as the plot picked up i was hooked.
- alpha centauri an enby icon!! obsessed with them!!
- i loved the ice warriors in this. it was great to see a different side to them compared to past stories.
- jo really got her chance to shine here! the scenes with her and peladon were lovely and it was so nice to see her take an active role in events.
- me: yay her and mike are going on a date! four episodes later… me: oh her and peladon never mind. (i love jo and yates)
- the doctor hypnotising aggedor and singing it a lullaby. for such a serious doctor he is often so silly.
day of the daleks thoughts
- my favourite story of the pertwee era so far
- i loved the paradox concept of the resistance going back in time is what caused history to happen
- the grey morality of the controller and the nuance it added to the whole situation was such a good addition
- ironic that both my favourite classic who dalek stories are them invading earth
- hot badass woman anat i love you
- jo: stressed. scared. doesn’t want to be there. the doctor: wine and cheese time!
the dæmons thoughts
- i really loved this one! i think the only thing that let it down was the resolution. it seemed overly simple and felt a bit flat compared to the whole story.
- i did love jo being the one to save the day though. she’s a cutie. i love her.
- i adore her and yates too
- the master just constantly popping up undercover as random people is iconic and i love it
- i loved the whole concept of being trapped in the town, the supernatural elements and all the stuff like that. it was really fun.
- shoutout to the icon who played the gargoyle
colony in space thoughts
- some great parts in this story that i enjoyed a lot!
- that said the subtext and some of the things in this story are not great
- the first off world story of the pertwee era!
- the master just popping up halfway through pretending to be an adjudicator. iconic. i love him.
- him trying to convince the doctor to join him and the conversation over the doomsday device was so good
- i love the doctor using martial arts at any minor inconvenience
the claws of axos thoughts
- probably my least favourite story so far. it was very mid although i loved the final episode
- i really enjoyed the doctor’s evil fake out and him teaming up with the master
- middle aged white men being annoying what a surprise
- every story i watch in fear of something happening to yates
- i adore delgado’s master. missy is very reminiscent of his version and their relationships with their respective doctors too

- little bit of a break because of irl things happening but i’m back to my watch!
- not one of my favourite stories but it had some good moments
- my heart is broken over barnham
- jo fighting back at the prisoners hell yeah you go girl
- i love captain yates and the fear i had when I thought he might die (i don’t actually know what happens to him no one spoil it)
- the homoerotic tension between an exiled time lord and his evil situationship that keeps trying to kill him
terror of the autons thoughts
- i was so excited to see this one! this is the first story my dad who is a lifelong dw fan remembers watching.
- INTRODUCTION OF THE MASTER
- roger delgado is so suave as them and i love this characterisation
- jo you’re an absolute cutie i adore you
- that said they got rid of liz who is a competent and intelligent scientist with only a throwaway line of explanation with someone who is simply there to assist the doctor. wtf.
- circuses and clowns and creepy ass autons. absolutely not. they’re freaky. i hate it.
- man getting eaten by a chair like a 90s baby getting swallowed by the inflatable plastic chairs as a child
- definitely my favourite story of pertwee’s era so far
inferno thoughts
- i loved the introduction to parallel universes! and the idea of seeing simultaneous events happening
- i did think the story got quite slow at points and the monsters didn’t really interest me
- inferno liz being badass i love youuuu
- i am gutted we didn’t have longer with her. she really deserved better.
- every time i started to like sutton he’d start to do something infuriatingly misogynistic again
- it’s so fun seeing the doctor play around with the console outside the tardis
the ambassadors of death thoughts
- i loved the concept of this and the suspense it held throughout. i just felt the story could’ve been done a little bit shorter.
- liz should’ve been allowed to punch someone
- i’ve always felt quite neutral on the brigadier and felt like he was a bit of a non-character until now. i started having a higher opinion of him from this story.
- i really loved some of the ensemble characters especially cornish

he’s such a cheeky little shit! i love how sassy but also serious and deadpan he is. his doctor loves playing people at their own game while seeming polite and charming which works so well.
